As CCG's go, it's better than it's counterparts. Thoughtful, intuative, quick, strategic, multifaceted. When effort goes into balance it shows.

10/10 Would pay for it (I already did!)
As a player with thousands of hours in hearthstone - GWENT feels very freshreshing. I've played the game 5~ hours a day and I'm truly addicted. I don't know what state the balance has been earlier, but now that I started playing it feels pretty well balanced. Sure I can find some imbalanced cards, but there is usually always way to counter those cards without completely cripling your deck. Every GWENT game feels different - and you actually get to play the game (unlike hearthstone where you play vs cancer decks like pirate warriors or something like that all the time.). I haven't gotten salty about any deck yet - I know my deck is weak against some matchups, but those decks have weaknesses that can be countered with other decks. There are so many ways to build your deck and so many working strategies. You can play high RNG decks or limit RNG by building very small deck - however you like it. Try it out - I regret it took months for me to do it even I had beta key waiting for me.

Addicting
Good fun, even if you're like me and lose more games than you win. Very much a strategy game, but luck plays its part. Good cards will help, and you can either grind your way to better ones or simply buy 'kegs' in-game if you have the cash to spare. Be aware that all kegs offer random cards so you can't just buy yourself the best cards, but you can eventually make them with 'scraps'. It's every bit as good as Gwent from the Witcher series, but better in almost every way, especially since you get to play against other people. Give it a try.

A new perspective - Great Success Game !
Gwent is really a great and expected game! (for those who played Witcher 3; and how it is still devoloping, I think it could be even better if they create some changes in cards you already know like: 1) You have up to 3 changes or modification, in terms of evolution, in every card of your stock you chose (and in points of the cards too); 2) Some morphing in the cards would be a innovative way to present a card game and I think they are already working on it (but be aware to not polute the panel, graphically speaking, with some sort of too motion images); 3) some way to attain more points if you win a game, because the way it is now is too slowly and it takes a eternity to buy those expensive cards... (and in the way, in my case, I almost gave up to collect cards in all groups, chose one kind and sold every others to buy only in the group I chose; that is: It would be smart if I had bought from the begining only in the kind I chose, but I wanted to know the others, so the players have this obstacle and you know the players of card games likes to collect all the cards, so a help in this way would be appreciated...); and finally: 4) A way to use cards from other colors or group of cards (but you have to pay the price, like paying two of $800 in change of one, etc...) so the card could change the color of the flag and be validated to a limit of plays or even to untill you win the prize when completing the points bar (then you loose the card, but remains half the price you paid - What it would be more estimulated in playing and attaining the points, etc...).
