Good expansion

A good expansion, I quite liked the tavern and the ability to use zombies to deliver it is great. The little bits of story you get to watch were also quite amusing and fit well into the game. The way the tavern works is also a good expansion that works well. There is one, in my view very irritating, flaw though: If you complete the main story (where you place two times three items in a certain place) then the game ends, without saving. If you play like me and fill up energy with grapes.... well, it had been a couple of hours since I had last saved. Very annoying. Other than that though, I haven't noticed any bugs in v1.205. I'd also like to be able to continue playing even after completing the main story, especially since I hadn't completed the tavern yet.

decent expansion, but still unfinished

worth getting if you already own tavern keeper and enjoy it, but doesn't fix the extremely grindy late game. Zombies farms can't automate farming, neither the tavern cooking or home cooking stations allow for automation or even basic queuing function for ranked items, so the several hundreds of individual food items needed for tavern events have to be crafted individually, while the cooking stations can only queue one item and you have to come back after they're done to queue another. Marble crafting also remains tedious.

It good, well balanced expansion

With this DLC you basically get this: 1) New quests. Most of them quite easy, several i moderate in term of difficulty. All, basically, is usual "craft-gather-bring-talk" stuff, nothing really new. Good thing they show some character of NPC and also allows you ti finally barge in several houses. 2) Cut-scenes with backstory. Yes, you finally get to know who sent you here (vaguely), why there is derelict ruins everywhere and where this broken bridge leads. And that Contract too. Story is quite interesting, albeit partially banal and predictable from some point. And you will learn who Gerry really is! They also clear some "suspicious hints" main game gives you about villagers during main quest. 3) Tavern! And this is real gem (and additional chore too). Tavern changes everything in game financial mechanics. Forget about being poor, with some tinkering, new tables, zombie farms and new zombie alcohol producing facilities you can get steady cash flow to spend, giving you option to bypass some chores completely. 4) Extended game ending if you finished DLC. DLC progression, BTW, isnt completely independent from Main Quest, just to keep you on track. Cons: Putting said earlier aside DLC doesnt changes much in main game and brings more question to story then answers. Some themes discussed in main game, like Ancient Curse expanded but not very much, its only tease you. No new locations or items, which is sad. Still, its must have DLC just for tavern alone.

Decent DLC

It's a decent DLC. Nothing groundbreaking, but it brings some additional content for the mid-game. However, be careful about installing this game around the time when a new DLC is released. That's when the main game is updated as well. Those updates can bring some annoying bugs. Some might prevent you to progress through the game. Developers usually fix them in short time. However, if you're not using Galaxy client for some reason (you don't like it or you are playing this game on Linux), your game isn't automatically updated. In that case, you need to pay attention to patch notes or you might be playing a version with a progression preventing bug.

Good adition to the game

My save game was just before completing the main story, and I am breezing through this DLC, so it's not well balanced for my case, but I bet it will be pretty good for a fresh playthrough. This addition to the game expands on the history of the town and I found that quite interesting. Overall, I'd say it's a good expansion, without drastic changes, so get it if you want more Graveyard Keeper to play.
