not a gog game
other than the name this one has nothing to do with gothic series , if it wasn't for the community patch this game would be absolute horror , unless you are collecting all the gog released so far , avoid this terrible crap

Just if you are HC Gothic fan!
The game is not bad in my opinion, but it's far far away from it's predecessors. The story is quite dull, basically just the final ending of the story of our hero. I gave 3/5 just because it was very nostalgic to me to visit the place from Gothic 3 once more.

Title says it all. If u want to play Gothic like game after Gothic 3, get Risen.

Bought by a mistake and...
I am enjoying it. The point is that I played the Original Gothic 3 way back in 2009, ten years ago and thought I'd give it one more go. I didn't watch and bought the Expansion by mistake and was nervous since most gave very bad reviews. I agree the game is buggy as hell, unbalanced, the easy difficulty is too easy and the medium is sometimes just too hard, the NH's character's a bit annoying, the other characters shift voices from different voice actors and so on. But it's Gothic! To me, at least. I just missed the game that I'm rolling with the punches. What I'm trying to say is that if you play this one before the original Gothic 3, it won't be as bad, especially if you never played it or played it a long time ago. Off to play some more.

About this game...
A little too expensive for this interesting, yet unfinished and unpolished experiment... I've already finished this 2 times... It might worth your while if you are a truly dedicated fan of the Gothic series...
