Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers

This is Retro-Gaming at its best. I am really glad to stumble upon GOG website and see all these great old titles. GK:SotF is one that I never finished, Got stuck on a puzzle then I was sidetracked by other shineys and just never got back to it. Now I have. Awesome game and good story and I am not one that disliked Tim Curry's voiceacting (or lack thereof). Had a few hiccups where sound was delayed and graphics got blotchy but it quickly cleared up and didn't hinder gameplay. A couple of the puzzles I had to install and use CPUKiller to slow the game down to solve the puzzle. I Played this game on a Win8 2:1 tablet with Intels new Bay Trail CPU at 1.48GHz and 2GB RAM.

I do have the actual program that I brought when it first came but never opened it to play it. I DL'ed it from GOG because for me to actually try to get the program to run on a modern computer would be a hassle. I am glad there is GOG so we can play all the games of old.

One of the most intriguing, thrilling, interesting, gripping and exhilirating game I'v ever olayed on a PC.

A must, as a student in digital literature I can say that GK is one of the best examples of the blur line between games and literature. Is well made, the story is excelent, i really recomend it; they don't make games like this anymore

Great game....the characters are "real" especially when you hear Leah Reminini as Grace......sarcastic and funny....just like Carrie on "King of Queens" Interesting story and very fun to play!!
