Same issues as STEAM
they say they fixed the the issues and you can play it if you have windows 10. Its a lie still constantly crashes. Crashes for me right when im about to leave the vault. Save you're money GOG did not fix anything.

Needs Games with windows still.......
4/5 for the game itself but 1/5 for the state it's sold in.Game wont start,needs gfwlive download,but games for windows is dead. This should have been patched out by now.

Fallout 3- GOG version
This is a review of the GOG download, not of the game itself. The game is a classic Bethesda title. What I don't understand is, if I'm paying $20 for a 13 year old game; why can't GOG give me a version that runs on a modern computer? What am I paying them for? I have to deep-dive into forums and the internet merely to get the game running on my PC. This .exe information or patches should absolutely be included in the download. I'm not playing this game in 2008, I'm playing it now. And I'm paying GOG for a working version to download and play on my system.

still doesn't work
a lot of people have said their GOG version works, sadly mine still works the same as any other version of Fallout 3 works.. it doesn't. Bought it to try to see if the GOG version worked any better, still get the same crashes, problems, etc as any other version. So sorry this is in the 1 star catagory of buying games that don't work on your modern computer.
