Fallout

Please give us back the original version of the game!

The file structure is a little different then the version in steam for the extras but comparing the two the GOG version has the fallout_refcard and manual pdf files in it. It also has the same extras. It looks like this is the same version found on steam but without the DRM which makes this the better choice in my opinion. My first Fallout game I played was Fallout 3. I got this game a back around 2019 and never really played it because the graphics where dated and the controls where so different. I tried it again after playing Baulder's Gate and really got into this time to the point where the graphics don't bother me anymore. I don't want to spoil anything for would be new players in terms of story but there are some interesting encounters. It's literally a sand box and you can play the way you want your character to be. It's worth giving it a shot. However, do yourself a favor and download the mod to uncensor the game so you can play it as it was intended.

So this game is excellent but this version is censored and missing a lot of the extras the original version had so I'm going to have to rate it one star. You can still pick it but definitely seek out the fan patch that fixes things.

Guys, this can´t be serious. The Game was fine as it is, but censorship is ruining it. No, just no.

Comment un gamer pourrait passer à coté de ce jeu légendaire ? Un monde uchronique des années 50 américaines dévasté par l'enfer nucléaire en 2077, les privilégiés se réfugient dans des abris tandis que les autres sont transformés en goules dans le meilleur des cas... Le début de l'aventure se passe presque 200 ans plus tard et le héro / héroïne que nous incarnons se trouve dans l'abri 13 où commence notre périple. L'abri se meurt et le superviseur nous envoie pour aller chercher une puce d'eau électronique pour purifier l'eau et c'est en sortant de cet abri que vous allez constater l'étendu des dégats et le monde qui vous attend ... Fallout est un jeu dit "rpg" car nous montons de niveaux avec des capacités à répartir à chaque fois, notre avatar doit de plus faire attention à ces actions pour ne pas s'attirer la foudre des factions les moins mauvaises : car on peut tuer tout le monde ici ! Nous rencontrons beaucoup de personnages importants et presque autant de quêtes, des compagnons qui nous aideront dans notre périple... l'immersion est totale et les conséquences de nos actes sont importantes suivant la voie suivie... Et l'immersion ne s'arrête pas là : commerce, vols, drogue, prostitution, meurtres... bienvenus dans le wasteland ! La suite... à vous de la découvrir ...
