Logistics keep me awake at night
This game is really really enjoyable if you enjoy making things work. Starting off by doing the few missions that are there to make you get a feel for the games mechanics, and then progressing to freeplay, where the real game is, it kept me busy for a few hundred hours already. And i get distracted pretty easily. The only bad part would be that I kind of forget to eat, drink and kiss my wife, as there is always some optimizing to do, some railroad to build before a field of iron runs out or some power thirsty equiptment to feed. Other people probably will write more usefull reviews, but if you want my opinion on this: If you like games that are a nice challenge because they make you think, go here. I really really like it.

Factorio- buy it now!
An amazing strategy/building game. So many problems to solve as you play and expand, I've lost days in this game with no regrets :D

Sublime in every facet.
I have this on Steam rather than GOG just fyi. Anyway, Factorio is the platonic ideal of a video game; it balances short-term and long-term objectives, goals, satisfaction, and a constant array of growing and interlinked puzzles. At no point is there an opportunity for boredom to appear, as there is always a new patch of ore to exploit, a factory complex to expand, a train line to extent, or optimization to perform on your existing factory.

You won't get bored
For around the past year, whenever I bought a game, I'd get bored. But not Factorio. I keep realising little things which could be automated, more to be mined, making me change my entire layout and system. I've just played this game for the last 2 hours, and before checking the time thought it had only been 30mins. Best game of the year. Kept me entertained. Still building up my empire, haven't researched laser cannons and weapons yet, so I've built an automated system to cook bricks and turn them into stone walls. Much quicker than manual. Unfortunately, I haven't discovered the sorter yet (to do my system I just source the materials directly from the mines so no sorting needed. Next I'm going to attempt to automate iron smelting. Damn, I just thought of a completely better idea than my current system: I've had a storage "block" where the items would rotate around and be picked off into chests, but why not sent them directly from their mines through the same smelting system that the stone has? The system would be less easily clogged, everything sorted... Damn, this game, makes you constantly think about new ideas. 10/10, most captivating game of the year.
