Evenicle

High quality JRPG with an interesting story, well worth a play... if you don't mind rape and sex scenes.

Own it via Mangagamer and overall it's a great H game made by the good folks over at Alicesoft. Gameplay is pretty simple and easy jrpg fare, but it still has some pretty good mechanics. I like how loot is streamlined, healing is strategic rather than spammable, and that status effects are useful against pretty much all bosses. Game is very easy overall, but some the optional bosses are pretty hard and enjoyable to fight. The main appeal is definitely the writing and story though. The story is really engaging with some good worldbuilding and the dialogue is very funny and enjoyable like you would expect from an Alicesoft rpg. Kathlyn and Riche are by far my favorites, but all the characters are solid. Aster is a pretty fun protag too. Like Rance without any of the unlikable elements. I love Rance, but if you can't stand him then you might still like Aster. The H scenes have voice acting so they're immediately better than almost all the Rance games, but they're still not why I would pick up the game personally. Overall Evenicle is much better as a actual jrpg than as a porn game imo and I 100% recommend it. Glad to see it on gog and hope to see the Rance games on here too.

(ATTENTION je parle de la version distribuée par MangaGamer il y a 2 ans, je ne sais pas du tout si GoG a rajouté de la censure ou pas...) Ce jeu se déroule dans un univers pratchétien dans lequel le monde obéit à des règles qu'on pourrait croire issus d'un jeu vidéo, un peu comme dans la saga Rance d'AliceSoft aussi ou dans des univers d'Isekai (dont les auteurs ont souvent avoué s'être inspiré de Rance). On s'y retrouve happé très facilement. Les héroïnes sont très attachantes, la plupart des PNJ aussi. Le système de combat est simple, mais très efficace et ressemble beaucoup à celui de Rance Quest (Rance 8). On se surprend à essayer d'optimiser son équipe au lieu d'essayer d'avancer dans l'histoire. Les graphismes 2D sont magnifiques. J'aime aussi ceux 3d, mais ils sont vraiment simplistes. La musique est magnifique. Avertissement pour les personnes sensibles : il y a des scènes de viol qui ne sont pas évitables d'après mes souvenirs.

Obviosley it is a great example of not only how a Hentai game is and should be, but of what alicesoft offers, it is both, an explosion of wholesome, comedy, and cruelty very well mixed together, the characters are all very likeable, and as for every Alicesoft game, the maincharacter actually has individuality adn stands out, bringing allways a refreshing and fun cast of characters to meet, I would recomend it specialy to those whom wish to get into rance, to see how Alicesoft makes its games, If you loved this one, you will Love the Rance series here on GOG too!

The story is surprisingly thought out for an eroge game. The combat is unimpressive, simple and easy. There are some battles that pose fun challenges and break up the monotonous, repetitive fights. The writing and music is fun. Just beware that, in true Japanese eroge fashion, the game contains some very explicit scenes that some may find disturbing or even traumatic. As always, Alicesoft delivers.
