Book III is not a dumbed-down “RPG for the masses”. Rapid button clicking won’t save you here. Eschalon pays honor to the greatest RPGs of the past, with unlimited character development options and freedom to explore the world as you wish. The difficulty of the game does not scale to your character.
  • Dozens of fan-requested features and updates to the engine and rule set.

Buy whole series, first is free...

I completed all three games twice and probably I return some day. It's simple game, adventure with rpg elements. Graphics is nice, sounds good and music great. Lot of option for your character or how to play it. Five Stars. Because she deserved it. Very well. I like this "Eschalon".

Just freakin awesome!!

I come from a background of playing rpgs since i was about 8, and let me tell you this game really makes you use you brain. Here's an example. Flying insects were attacking me, they were immune to my dagger and my bow. So i thought about it a while. I said to myself well in life i usually swat flying bugs with my hands. So i unequipped my weapon, and sure enough it killed them. Very detailed. If you thought Arcanum was good, this blows it waaaay out of the water.
