Escape Goat

Are you looking for a game that will fill your 5 minute long break? Then it's a game for you! It autosaves after each room and you won't need more than that to beat it. Basically there are three types of rooms: 1) You know exactly what to do but it requires good platformer skills and a perfect timing so you may die several times. 2) You have absolutely no idea what to do. You have to test a bit (and die as a result) to see what's what and how every button works. After that it's a piece of cake. 3) Hybrid: first you have to learn what to do and then prove your good reflexes. Man, those rooms are hard! Anyway I strongly recommend the game if you are looking for a refreshment during some other serious tasks.

Escape Goat has charming graphics (the goat perches adorably on the edge of ledges!), a really great soundtrack, some really good puzzles, and lots of levels with mechanics that change enough to keep it interesting but not so much that you're just continually learning a new game. My only complaint is that some of the puzzles seem to rely a little bit on good timing and platforming skills, but that's mostly because I suck at platformers. If you have good timing and can make a goat jump while you make a magic mouse teleport, you'll be fine. Highly recommended!

This is seriously one of the most addicting games I've ever played. It offers a lot of diverse levels and hard puzzles that will leave you playing for hours, Escape Goat exceeded my expectations!

There's not a whole lot I can say that's not covered in the preview video. The game has tight controls and is gamepad compatible. The retro graphics are well done and really take me back. The best surprise is the soundtrack and remix album that are included with the game.

I discovered this game when it was debuted in an Indie Royale bundle, and being a fan of puzzle platformers, it was the first of the bunch that I tried. I was not disappointed. Despite being a recent release, it magically transported me to the early 90s and made me feel like I had just discovered a new gem that I was going to put on a floppy disk so I could bring it to a friend's house. It's pretty short, and I managed to complete it in only a few hours, but I loved it from start to finish.
