Description
Enter the Gungeon est un "dungeon crawler" bourré d'armes à feu. Vous suivrez une bande de hors-la-loi prête à tirer, piller, esquiver et ravager tout ce qui se dressera sur leur chemin pour atteindre l’absolution en atteignant le trésor ultime du légendaire Gungeon : le pistolet qui peut tuer le passé. Choisissez un héros et détruisez les hordes d’ennemis en survivant à une série complexe et évolutive d’étages remplis de Gundead dangereusement adorables et de terribles boss du Gungeon armés jusqu’aux dents. Amassez un butin précieux, découvrez des secrets cachés et discutez avec des marchands opportunistes pour acheter de quoi garder l’avantage.
- Le Gungeon: Entrez dans le Gungeon – une forteresse en constante évolution qui mêle avec élégance des salles conçues à la main et un labyrinthe généré de façon aléatoire, conçu pour détruire tous ceux qui s’y aventureront. Mais attention, le Gungeon réagit aux moindres victoires contre ses sentinelles et pièges en corsant le challenge et les défis qu’il contient !
- La secte des Gundead: le Gungeon n’est pas constitué seulement de pièges et de gouffres. Calmez-vous et visez juste face à la secte des Gundead puissamment armée. Ces disciples du flingue ne reculeront devant rien pour abattre les héros, et emploieront toutes les tactiques nécessaires pour défendre leur temple.
- Les Flingueurs: Choisissez l’un des improbables héros, tous écrasés par un profond regret et en quête d’une façon de changer leur passé, coûte que coûte. Mus autant par le courage que par le désespoir, ces aventuriers n’hésiteront pas à plonger dans les flammes, à sauter au milieu des balles ou à s’abriter derrière le moindre mur pour atteindre leur objectif !
- Les armes: Découvrez et débloquez des dizaines de flingues fantastiques pour annihiler tout ce qui vous attaquera dans le Gungeon. Chaque arme offre des munitions et des tactiques différentes. If you're looking for a roguelike twinstick shooter, Enter the Gungeon is one of the best. You'll shoot and dodge roll your way through procedurally-generated levels. Over 200 guns and secret rooms means you'll dive into the Gungeon again and again. It's not the most most innovative roguelike, but what it does, it does well.

Just buy Binding of Isaac Rebirth.
So you want a rogue like dungeon delving game with tons of weird things that alter gameplay?? This isn't it. Apparently if you play 50+ hours and get the right items and stumble into secrets that may or may not spawn when you've had a chance to get these items you can unlock interesting perks and shops. I'd rather just play a game that was interesting while being hard from the the start. The guns are basically all the same and most of the time you're better off with your basic gun becaues at least you get the hang of it's fire rate. Most others are the same thing but with dif fire rates. The really interesting ones like the boat gun! It's wacky! It's fun! It's also not a valid option if you want to beat the tough enemies. You're shooting yourself in the foot with (pun intended) if you try to play with these guns. This is punishing in an unfun way and feels like you're ramming your head against a brick wall instead of making progress. Maybe get it at 75% off. Or really just get Binding of Isaac Rebirth.

Slow pace building, messy controls
I watched the trailer and was seduced by the bullet-hell explosions-everywhere aspects. I was expecting a fast shooter with tons of firepower, dangers everywhere on screen and a high difficulty like in a good-old arcade shmup and was really disapointed. You start with as much firepower as a slinger and shoot a lot of time at little enemies to slowly kill them one by one (when not reloading). The dodging, table flipping, collecting guns, items and blanks (clear the room of bullets) can be fun, but it stacks too much features, making the game hard to handle. I was a lot of time shot down because of not knowing instinctively which key I had to press. Along with the continuous need to reload (which is not automatic when you hold the fire button), the game pace become pretty slow and the controls messy. Above all the side buttons of my mouse and the non ascii characters of my keyboard (I don't use azerty nor qwerty) where not recognized and had some performance issues on the linux version. So play on PS4 if you can, which I feel was the platform mainly targeted and ported after. Once you get through the third level, things become interesting. You should have a strong weapon, bullets are coming from everywhere but the too-much-of-features make it still hard to play. And when you die, you can restart all the boring farm, find the shop, buy a real gun and kill the boss of the first level. If the game had more intuitive controls and a faster pace in early game I may have sticked to it a bit (like starting directly to level 3 with a good weapon). I like the ambiance, it's hard as I like and I appreciate the one-shot style (you always start from zero from a game to an other). I forced myself to play after the first negative feeling because hey, I paid for it and I'd like some entertainment but it didn't worked. Now I just leave it as a brainless time-waster, but I have books to read instead.

Needs optimization
Well the main song is great, very catchy, but my computer couldn't get through the menu so I can't rate it on that. I saw footage of this, and it certainly looks fun, so if they update it to run a lot better I would come back, but I have to return it.

Linux 64bit Support?
For f**** sake, this is 2016, add 64bit Linux support already. I am *very* disappointed to find out, that Win and OSX has 64bit support, but on Linux I have to install a f***ton of i386 libraries. NO MORE!!
