Empires: Dawn of the Modern World

Please note that i have never played this game outside of gog. The game is very well balanced, with lots of fairly diverse civilizations and tons of unit types. the graphics are fairly enjoyable, but not good by modern standards. It is easy to play and learn and very enjoyable (although i do not believe that multiplayer still works, but i am not sure). The civilizations for the first three ages are the most diverse in their unit types and stats, and in the last 2 they are less so. I also want to point out that all the civilizations have the same unit types with differant stats and costs, but there is some exeptions to this. The only other problem i have with the game is that the voices of the units sometimes change. Overall i think the game is very well done and well worth the price.

I cant help but love this game since I played it to death as a teenager and generally love the genre, however I am aware there are a few things new players to the game may not enjoy, including: - campaigns are meh - non-bindable keys - AI that cant effectively compete on all maps - requires specific PC display settings to work properly If you are new to the game, and those things arent deal breakers, definitely give it a go. Its simplier than AOE and is a bunch of fun to play, with a variety of features other series lack that add alot to the experience.

The game won't start at all. The "rename the video files" fix doesn't help. Also the 3 patches can't be installed because they don't register the game at all. I've wasted one hour of my life trying to start the game. This version is simply unfinished or bugged!

One the best WW1 and WW2 rts games you can play

I have loved this game since I was a kid. Is it 100% historically accurate? No. Is it fun to drop nukes on medieval peasants? Yes. 10/10 would recommend.
