Empire Earth Gold Edition

This has been a wonderful nostalgia trip for me, one of the first games I owned. This GOG version worked well on my WIndows 10 Setup (20H2) with Nvidia GPU played at WQHD 1440p Resolution. While the game mechanics and the AI certainly didn't age well the campaigns are still a lot fun. IMHO the best game of the Trilogy. Hoping that one day it will get a proper 4K remaster/remake.

This is my favourite game of all time, brings back alot of childhood memories. I have 3 copies of the CD game how as you imagine with newer tech and getting scratched these are of not much use anymore. Was so glad to find this on gog.com This game was ahead of its time and still is better than most newer games that do not offer the same features and limit you base building

Game was great on Windows 7 but Windows 10 it gets stuck and i have to restart my PC by pressing my power button off then on. Dont buy also because i contacted developer and they said that they dont plan on updating it for windows 10.

I see lots of comments about this game not working on Windows 10 devices. I have a Windows 10 gaming box with i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 6GB Nvidia GTX1060 card and it works just fine! I've played this game for years, and absolutely love it. One thing that I DID have issues with early on with the GOG download was resolution. Standard when starting the game was 640 x 480, but my machine would crash if I tried to change it to a higher resolution. I just left it where it was and it runs just fine. Resolution is just fine as long as you don't zoom in for some reason. I have a 31" monitor attached to my machine, so I get plenty of the map showing when I play on any of the "sizes". I like this game for many reasons. It's very playable, it's easy to command units (right click and drag a box around the units), and just plain fun. I've had issues with the AI as well, but changing your map to islands can make a difference, as it buys you some time to build up your resources. There are lots of options, from changing civilizations (not that much difference between them all), to maps, to difficulty levels, and changing them all gives a different game to play each time. Game play may take hours, but it's extremely enjoyable to spend a rainy/snowy day plugging away at your enemies. If you REALLY want to have some fun, load up a small island map and assign all computer civilizations to play. Each civilization has it's own island next to 3 others (one island is in the middle of the map). Trying to keep tabs on 8 different enemies at the same time can be a lot of fun. If you just want to blow through them all, enable cheat codes...that's fun too! I've had no issues since getting the GOG version. It's better than having to install the disk to run (my machine doesn't have a DVD player anyway), and I've had no issues running on Windows 10.

Amazing works great, so happy i used to play this game ALL THE TIME, looks like i will again. Is there anyway to get the expansions?????? Pleaseee let there be a way to get the expansions
