Empire Earth Gold Edition

Best RTS ever. Time period is from cavemen to space combat. It will consume amazing amounts of your time. It works great with Windows 10. The GOG installer is legit and gets the Gold Edition up and running fast. I still have the original books and charts - and they are included with this in .pdf form as well.

I'm not the top RTS player, but this one is quite good...just the part that you advance between a lot of different time periods and goes from per-historic age to future-tech age is just something I really admire... Not really a "must own" but definitely a "worth playing".

I used to play this from the time I was 5 till I was 7 and moved. I remember being so addicted I stayed up all night playing this. Literally. I recently found this website that still selling so it'll be great being able to play this game again. I strongly recommend this to anyone who likes strategy type games. But if you have no patience, you better find the cheats. I just wish there would be more people to play online with. =D

(Based on original CD-ROM release, not GOG version.) If you are a fan of RTS games, then this is a must-have. Enjoyable campaign. LAN play. AI is fairly amusing and relatively difficult. Voice acting is a bit funny ("cheesy") at times. Campaign and level editor. Damage calculations can be odd and unrealistic (a shot of a tank usually doesn't kill a citizen).

I spent endless hours with fighting against multiple AI opponents, the scenarios, the campaings, all of them. It has a decent graphics (in it's age of course). Epic gameplay, through 12 or 13 "ages", like roman, mediaval, etc. Customizable unit strengths both nation and game level. Customizable nations. Balanced unit set, and quite many of them. Built-in, intuitive modding facility. Availibility of user made scenarios, at later stages they ment the most fun, i also made one for this game, the Peak Oil. The Empire Earth 2 was a disappointment for me, i would stick to this one, and never played with the 3rd.
