One of the Best

Major bugs have been worked out and there is still some work being done by the developer. Sure it is an updated Genesis, but how is that bad? This is a great turn based strategy game. Looks fantastic, and plays brilliantly. The battles have so many layers to them. I mean terrain, morale, stamina, skills, and luck all play a role in every single battle.You have so many choices for heroes, troops, and buildings, and they can all be viable choices. Eador MOTBW is the best TBS game I have played as it challenges you, tests your skills, and looks fantastic. I

Great fun and addictive

Hi there, I actually like the game a lot, since there * are lots of tactical things to consider in battles * Many different items to discover * a strategic level * lots and lots to explore, find out, discover, try out and all that * frequent updates from the developers add depth and features and simply more fun Well if you are seriously into fantasy, mircomanagement (not necessary) and strategy without the need to hurry, give it a try - I love it! Great fun, if only it worked.

In terms of content and gameplay Eador MotBW is great. Unfortunately the further you get into the campaign the more unstable it gets. Eventually it crashes so often and consistently that it is literally unplayable. If it worked I'd give it 4 stars, but it doesn't. I would love to change this review if they fixed it, but they've had 8 years and have moved on to other things.

Patched, this is a great game

I can only say that, yes, this game was released far too soon. But the developer(s) really care and are busy patching since it was released. Up to this point, five patches have been released and only few heavy bugs remain. I can only encourage everyone to buy this game and play it. This really is a great game, and with the bugs out of the way, you can really see it.

Too much bug

I was really please after the tutorial. No problem and the game look good. But since, I was not able the finish the first shard. Problem in battle (Freeze) Problem after event (that kick me out of the game) At the end I reset the game 5 times to make 2 turns so I quit. I have not play the first Eador game but with a good patch this game is easily a 4. Just hope I will not get bore of the game cause of all the game because usualy that what happen.
