i dont feel words can truly discribe how much i absolutly love this game. i have been playing it since it was released, and come back to it time and time again. nothing compares to this game. today i was directed to this site, as it will run dk2 on vista. it does! i am so happy to pay for this game (yet again) and it works. absolutly outstanding. shame i cant get the map editor to work though :(

good game
Been playing the first 7-8 levels with no issues on Win 7 64bit. Great game just as I remembered it!

Great game, very addictive
This is one of those classic games that I never got around to playing back in the day. Recently bought it off GOG and I loved it, its a bit of shame I never got a chance to play it as a kid. Already clocked up massive amounts of hours staying up late at night because its addictive and great fun. Its kind of like the more modern dungeon building game 'Evil Genius'. In response to some of the previous user comments I have been running it off Windows 7 and are having no compatibility issues. I guess GOG got around to fixing some of these issues. Although it did crash once or twice as I was trying to restart a level. But otherwise hours of game play without any problems.

Serious nostalgia every time.
Every time I play this, my inner child lights up and I remember all the great memories I had playing this as a young boy. I will say though, that the compatibility issues with DK2 and Windows 7 are rather annoying. BUT, there are fixes found in patches and config changes. To everyone who already owns this game OR is looking to buy it. YOU MUST BUY IT. And then spend a few minutes after installing it, looking for some of the crash fixes. Still gets 5/5 after all these years and despite the issues.
