After some re-work of Gog...
DK2 works fine now for Windows 7. I played one full day this game with only two crashes and those were on the general map for select levels. Though Gog only offer the english version.

Absolute Classic
I purchased this game back in 1999 and its still as good as I remember it. If you missed out on this classic the first time round, I would highly recommend you give it a try. The game blends both RTS and RPG elements seamlessly and taking care of your creatures needs is a rewarding challenge. The game runs fine in Windows 8, just a shame that there is no support for higher resolutions such as 1080p... there is also a bug with windows 8 that only allows the game to be playable in 640x480. Windows 7 users should have no problems...

This gog-patched-version of DK2 works absolutely fine on Vista & Win7 ! (I tried both) no crashes!! graphics as it should be. Just wonderful!!! You made me very happy!♥
