Dungeon Keeper™ 2

This is just about my favourite game of all time! However, on my PC (Win7 64-bit) it randomly stops working with the classic "something has gone wrong..." dialogue box. I've tried everything to fix this, including downloading a fresh version from GOG. Full marks to GOG for their service, everything worked just fine, except the game that does exactly what it has always done on this PC :-(

..it crashes and crashes and crashes! With the dkII-dx.exe I get always crashes if i choose any of the menu options. With the save mode or the standard dkII.exe, it does not always crash but it crashes too! If you list this game as Windows 8 compatible, why does it crash??

One of the better RTS games that Bullfrog has come out with. Graphics still look great to this day, and the GOG version works perfectly on Windows 7. For those wondering about a third installment, there isn't one, but there is a spirtual successor called "War for the Overworld" on steam that you should check out.

This is the PERFECT game for the PC, built for mouse and keyboard. The gameplay is unlike anything you have ever played and the progression of the game will keep you yearning for more the deeper you delve, and dig you will!.

I loved this game as a child but it never worked properly. Has the errors for windows 7 been fixed yet?
