Dungeon Keeper™ 2

Hello, DK 2 (the old CD) works normaly with a professionnal version of Windows 7 and don't ask why i don't know.

Having played this as a teen, I seen that Windows 10 support had been added by GOG, so decided to purchase instead of going through the hassle of optimizing my own CD Rom Copy. Having spent time trying to optimize recent(ish) games, such as Fallout 3 on processors of more than two cores, I was somewhat skeptikal that this would run absent issue. To my surprise, GOG have optimized this title to perfection! The five stars that I have given the game is as much about the game play as it is about the support for Windows 10 GOG have added. As for the game, if was one of my favourite games growing up, and playing it again reminded me of why that it; sarcastic comments from the master, dungeon construction, development of an army to overthrow the "evil" of good. I spent the entirety of yesterday, and many more hours today in in the future. The only downside I can see is a new player getting used to the key bindings - such as End+down arrow to zoom out - but this was a game not built at a time where scroll wheels were installed on every mouse.

I have no nostalgia glasses, so I can tell you this game is awesome. The only reason it got a 4/5 review is I can't change the resolution.

I'm still remember my brother's first PC and the countless hours while we were playing with Dungeon Keeper 2. The atmosphere, the style and the feeling of this game... it is almost impossible to describe. But it is not all about the nostalgia. DK and especially DK2 are one of those games that do not ages. Yeah, of course the graphics it's not super-fancy 4K but if you keep in mind DK2 was relased in 1999, you are going to have some really good time. You are going embrace an experience that won't be similar to nothing in the gaming history since then. If you had enough to save world and restore the balance and etc. and you only just want to be bad, then do yourself a favor and buy Dungeon Keeper! Let the Dark Side consumes you!

Brilliant game! One of the best. Want to buy it again but does it work on windows 10 64 bit?
