Pretty good
The game does work with a Xbox 360 controller, even if it doesn't say it on the store page

Captivating
The art, music, story, and gameplay of dropsy (hugs!) is perfect. It captured my heart and was a pleasure to play and collect every hug.

Sweet and short
Judging from the trailer and the first couple of minutes, this game appears to be full of dark humor and spookiness, but it really isn't. It's a sweet, touching game about solving other peoples' problems and bringing happiness into the lives of others. Don't get me wrong, there are one or two dark humor parts mixed in, but they're few and far between, and the ending is genuinely happy and funny.

Warm and Damp P&C Adventure Game
Harkening back to the classics, this gives a fresh and simple take on an old genre. You are tasked as Dropsy to help out with the townspeople's doldrums, and to give lots and lots of hugs. The story is simple, heartwarming, and a bit humorous, without a single spoken word of English. All of the characters communicate to each other with these cute little picture boxes that are incredibly easy to understand. The graphics are amazingly detailed, with it being classic pixel graphics. At around 4-5 hours of gameplay, it's definitely worth the asking price.

Good Art that Warms the Heart
I really enjoyed this game. Everything is conveyed through a combination of character animations and pictograms (emojis for you younger folks) through dialog boxes in place of text, but does it so well that I never felt confused as to what a character was thinking or trying to communicate to me as the player. The story and environments take on a feeling of sadness and it's your goal as Dropsy to help people feel happy again, no matter how badly they may treat you initially. The puzzles are fair with plenty of context clues and practically no pixel hunting as long as you pay attention. It was very obvious that the developer took great care in accentuating important details while avoiding insulting the player's intelligence. There is a good amount of collectables, hidden visual lore, and even puzzles that are not essential for completion of the game, for those that like to explore every nook and cranny of games.
