I wont mention this again as not sure if it achieves anything, but for commercial games older than 2 years GOG shouldn't go beyond $7.99-$9.99. Brand-new games on the other hand could be between $15-25, and indie titles maybe somewhere below $7.99. This game is great don't get me wrong but for all its greatness you can pick it up for 4-5 pounds at amazon, and I don't think it has DRM either.
This sequel has little to do with the first game. And the story was clearly made with another sequel in mind... that doesn't exist. So there are a lot of things left over in this episode. The characters you encounter from the previous game are not what they were - all of them ! And the sneak parts are really boring... So, no, it is clearly not a good sequel.
What a wonderful game! The Longest Journey has its problems concerning the fight sequences and overall controls, but story, atmosphere and the world are absolutely awesome.
Thanks GOG.com for the master piece, for this wonderful game that prays for a sequel!
Sorry, i just hate the new3D mechanics here so much..i installed it twice with 10 years between and i just can´t play this..first The Longest Journey is a masterpiece !
