Not really worth purchase unless a fan
Unless you're a fan of Ragnar, this really isn't that good. Midly gripping, boring, short and too easy. I wouldn't recommend this. Leaves a lot to be desired, left me mostly empty. I feel like the creator had hunger, instincts or maybe he had the perfect collaboration to make a masterpiece with TLJ 2 decades ago... However, his recent work to me anyways is pretty lackluster and forgettable. I can't remember alot of Dream Fall Chapters and Dreamfall was almost it's own creation and spin off game that never achieved the same status as TLJ and never will and it also dragged it through the mud... This game isn't really worth paying for. It's a resounding MEH and I could review it just with one word being... MEH.... I think much like Star Wars, if you slap a brand or creative influence to certain properties, people flock to it like it's something worthy... but this game is very very mid and if it wasn't Ragnar it would get very average to sub-average reviews. It's pretty but that's what it really does best, I can't say it does anything as well or better than how it looks and that's really not enough to make it worth the time and purchase. The story just feels empty and I didn't feel any sense of accomplishment or fullfillment after. Honestly, I think Ragnar is another hasbeen or one hit wonder. He seems like a nice guy but the content he puts out hasn't the kind of soul and lightning in the bottle as TLJ and worse he doesn't really seem to have any love or loyality to the characters and story of his greatest creation. His treatment of April in the sequels was TERRIBLE... Anyways, this game is very very mid and MEH, would not recommend. If you read the positive reviews, they are psuedo-intellectual, fluffy, trying to make this into some Ragnar masterpiece, clearly fans, but this game is pretty disappointing and really just not worth your time.
