A year has passed since the operation to retrieve Dr. Kirk.
Third Energy, both a source of "ultimate clean energy" and a potential "ultimate weapon," has proven to be dangerously unpredictable. The government, having taken control of the project from Dr. Kirk, continued its development. Then, the “accident” happened once again.
The research city of Edward City was completely destroyed in an explosion from the Third Energy reactor—an event far more catastrophic than the previous accident. In response, the government launched a rescue mission to retrieve the research data and any remaining personnel.
To reach Edward City, believed to have been displaced in time by the reactor’s explosion, the government deployed an experimental, untested “time gate” device to send a rescue team back in time. No one could foresee the consequences of this mission—except one person: Regina…

Add support language Dino Crisis 2
Dino Crisis 2 had multilingual support (in addition to having English and Japanese)... Please add multi-language support to this version (like the first Dino Crisis)

None of my controllers work
Dino Crisis 1 was able to remap all the buttons and get the controller working, but Dino Crisis 2 cannot. I have no idea why. I've tried this game with 3 controllers now (XBOX wired PC controller, Nintendo Switch wired controller, and a Super Nintendo styled controller). None of them work properly. It captures directions, but I have no way to attack because it doesn't acknowledge the bumpers or triggers. I have to use the keyboard to enter menus or exit the game. But the mystery deepens! When I first ran the game, it let me try to map the controls but only some of the buttons would register. On later attempts, none of the buttons worked even in that menu (other than navigating the menus with the direction button and select/cancel, which do work, but not when trying to change key bindings). This rebinding menu also gets obstinate with the keyboard, refusing to change some commands. Overall this game feels very broken and is currently unplayable. It's strange that it's so broken... DC1 had problems like overlapping buttons in its original binding, but with effort I was able to remap it all into something playable. This game decided it was too smart to allow that. I'm sorry that it ended up like this. I was really excited to see the games sold as a bundle, and I like that GOG is trying to rescue them from obscurity. Unfortunately DC2's keybindings 100% don't work and I have run out of options and patience.

Not RE with Dinosaurs Part 2
Firstly, I want to thank GoG for their Games Preservation Program. Video games are an art and just like paintings or sculptures, they need to be protected and saved for future generations to enjoy. Now, the last game had a problem with not enough ammo, too many enemies that could kill you with a harsh look, and too many items to manage with a messed up, broken storage system. This time, there are tons more enemies, tons more weapons, another Player Character, no storage system and the only items you have to manage are your health items. Everything else goes into your super special, expanded fanny pack that is bottomless, except where health items are concerned. Those have a limit. Is this game better than DC 1? Yeah, I think it is. Does that make it a good game? No, not really. The last game wanted and expected you to run from most enemies and ensured you would do that by being stingy with the ammo. Now, you’re expected to run and gun, mowing down dinos left and right. It’s a lizard shooting gallery, and you’re the main characters. Because now, you NEED to kill everything that moves because killing gives you points. Not money, credits or stacks of dolla dolla bills, Extinction Points. Which you can somehow turn in to the Save/Shop and buy new weapons, gear, ammo and health items. Not sure how that’s supposed to work, but that’s what you got. The dinos are still bullet sponges, with no kind of explanation why a Raptor can get riddled with dozens of SMG rounds and still be alive enough to gut you like a fish. The 2 Big Bad Boss Dinos are hilariously bullet proof, to the point that a tank just annoys one, and the other requires the theft of GDI’s Ion Cannon to finally kill. I had hoped that these 2 games would scratch that Resident Evil itch. But they didn’t do that, they just annoyed me. It was very disappointing.
