Diablo + Hellfire

Good old memory don't know what BleepBlOOp is on about, this game is exactly as I remember it in fact I still have the original cd. Only thing that sucks is lack of widescreen, also Hellfire isn't included which is an automatic drop in a star. I gave it two less because the price tag showed $9.99 then I logged in and two seconds later its $13.49, so maybe its not a major deal just feels a bit of a let down. But what the hey I caved in and let nostalgia grab me. I would be willing to overlook this oversight if the good folks over at GOG slipped in Hellfire for free no catch I would even raise one star in that favor.

Still in 2019 battlenet is not working (port 6112 issue) and this crappy indie company called blizzard give a s..it about it. But Gog customer service is great and give me a fast refund. I hope developers will fix this bug Its a shame that such big company can`t fix a game. Blizzard is not as good company as before.

I tried the game at a friend. For nostalgic, is a good come, but it has small problems in the widescreen chapter. It looks like the GOG and Blizzard forgets a little detail. How can I have widescreen in the SVGA and not support widescreen in the TCP \ IP, even though he boasts high-resolution support? Aspect Ratio Calculator is just 4:3 on high resolution, not 16:9. SVGA have the format 16:9 (classic diablo. I had to look for a remediation on the internet. Those who have played diablo after the physical CD will find or have that fix. This is just two files: 'ddraw.dll' and 'ddraw_settings'. This is the fix for the widescreen problem in the high resolution version. Fix this probleme! All the best!

I loved the game when it was a released and for me its still fun to play. The story is ok , controling you characters is cluky and game is pretty hard compared to modern games. For me its a five star game but if you remove the nostalgia factor and add the fact that this does not contain Hellfire explansion is probably not worth your money. It really feels like a moneygrab on blizzard side if you sell 23 year old game without full content for 10$
