Short and sweet
I first played this game 6 years ago and decided to play it again in 2025. Narative wise this is not the strongest game in the series and definitely the short. However it remains my favorite game to come back on from the Deus Ex franchise as it retains the flavor of the original world I've grown attached to along with some great new abilities. To put it short, this is one of my favorites 8/10 games. The story, the writing and the gameplay find a balance between each other where although none shine in particular, they feel great when it all comes together

Excellent game, undercut my mega corp
The game is fantastic as far as immersive sims and the Deus Ex franchise go. RIP what a shame that the audience response and critque was so heavily swayed by the garbage demand from corporate HQ for SE Montreal to add monetization to the game via the multiplayer that no one wants to play. It was blamed for why the game feels like a Part I rather than a complete story like DX:HR was. Worth a buy. Worth a play. Pray the series is revived after SE Montreal punched out a few duds.

Most underrated game ever
Beautiful game (on the highest specs) with fantastic world building. It's a world full of secrets, with incredibly detailed environments to explore, and mysteries whose answers aren't spelled out for you but are there for those who want to seek them out. Genuinely a masterpiece, and such a shame that it never got the recognition it deserved.
