It's jank but I love it.
Old school charm. Watered down compared to the original game, but still fun!

A Flawed but Enjoyable Ride
Playing from start to finish with a controller, no mods, was honestly a dream come true for me. I went in with an open mind, fully aware of the game’s age and flaws, and ended up really enjoying my time. What I Liked - I’ve only played Deus Ex: Human Revolution before this, and surprisingly, I liked Invisible War better. - The level design is solid. I never got lost, and the maps felt compact and easy to navigate. - Objectives were always clear — I knew what to do and where to go. - Choices throughout the game actually mattered. By the end, your actions felt like they had weight. What Didn't Work So Well - I had to do some serious "jiu-jitsu" with controller remapping — many buttons just didn’t work out of the box. - Brightness issues made some areas hard to see. - Some areas dragged on longer than they needed to. - Dropping items didn’t work properly, and I couldn’t move the mouse in the inventory. I had to temporarily switch the game out of fullscreen and use save file tricks — even reinstall the game a few times — just to manage my gear. - The enemy AI was either funny-bad or randomly extremely challenging — not much in between, which made encounters unpredictable in a weird way. - The game crashed or froze on loading screens occasionally, but reopening it usually brought me back to the last save. Pro tip: use lots of save slots (I had at least 7). Final Thoughts Despite its quirks, Invisible War gave me a memorable experience. It's rough, sure — but if you accept it for what it is, there’s still a good game underneath. I’d recommend it to open-minded players, especially those who enjoy immersive sims. My Verdict: Worth playing if you’re patient and save often.

Great old FPS
After 22 yeara, this continues to be one of my favorites. Gameplay and graphics have held up nicely.

Innovative
I really like games that try new things so although this game is very similar to the first, it did try out new mechanics. I dont know if these things were first shown in this game but they were the first time I saw them. Climbing - jump to a ledge and hold forward and jump and your character will grab the ledge and climb up. Unique Weapons - Most if not all guns in the game have a unique version that has extra abilities/alternate firing modes. Universal Ammo - 1 ammo type that is used for every weapon. This was not very well received. The game is short and every level was broken down into multiple locations with loading screens between them which was kind of disappointing but the content is still good.
