Deus Ex™ GOTY Edition

Bought this game again because I had a blast playing it in my youth. If you get this game with the included Revision Mod, be aware that the game isn't launched from the GOG installer, but from a seperate folder called Revision within your games installation directory.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you Deus Ex. You can ask - what it is? Well, Deus Ex is a classic, one-of-the-first RPG/FPS mix, even thought it's just as FPS as one of the Splinter Cell or Hitman games. You control JC, member of an Intercontinental organization who travels the world to find a cure to a virus, just to find some bigger problems as well... You can play it the way you want - be a stealthy assassin, a future Rambo or create your own playstyle - the choice is yours. The game was ages ahead of it's time, and - in a little ugly way - it's still better than lot of games released today. If you want to play a game which makes you addicted to it, don't wait anymore, just buy it and play it. And again, with another path. And again, with just one more change in your decision. And again. And...

This game is already great and with the patches incluided it just gets better. Works out of the box on any modern system

Incredible game. It was groundbreaking at the time, and still holds up well to this day. The graphics may not be as good as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but the atmosphere is far better, and the UI was made specifically for the PC. It's just a smarter, more enjoyable game overall, and one of the greatest games ever made. If you've never played it before, you're missing out. Big time.
