Don't play if you're motion sick

Yes, I did play a demo version back then in 2003 or so, in that time is seemed like a solid arcade shooting game... Many things have already been written. The game on it's own isn't bad, it is quite playable, doesn't have bigger bugs etc. Yes, the enemy AI is simple, but does it's job, and I would say it doesn't have to be hardcore for a this type of game. Sadly, maybe I am just getting to old, but now, when I try to play this game for more than a minute or so, I almost had to puke. Is this because of the camera or the tank motion/moving or when shooting? I don't know. Sorry for this, but it is hard to explain. The FOV isn't that bad, I guess, and after all you can modify it (also the resolution for widescreen), if you want, with editing the DT.ini file in the games directory.

Aged worse than I thought

The game is a arcade tank shooter. I bought it at the time of release and I had fond memories of this title. Truth is that... is not much good. Yes, it is one of the few tank game out there but the reality is that most of the times you run and gun against dumb enemies. Enemy tanks are a joke. They rarely spot you and are so slow to repond to your fire, that you destroy them long before they pose a treat. Mines and RPG soldiers are the true danger here. Other than that the structures are mildly distructible but, most of the times, that is not very satisfying to do. The story... well.... I'll let you guess it. Also, it made me a bit sick after a few levels, as the tank movement is a bit too wobbly. So stopped playing. Worth for nostalgia and if you can't find any other tank game out there.

War of tanks but with ps2 graphics

The game actually fun and cool. I played this game when I was kid when I had my win 98 pc.

Linux Review

"Mom, can we have tank game?" "No, we have tank game at home!" This is clearly a budget title and there is some limited fun to be had, but it's super short with only 8 or so levels and most of them are not very challenging. Just don't expect some hidden gem for $2.99. Running on Linux is super easy through Wine. No special tricks required, just install and go. You might want to edit the DT.ini file to increase your screen resolution, though beware widescreen will be stretched.

War on Terror showelvare

TLDR? The kind of game you see in american tv shows as a background dressing when scene asks for kids playing and/or being interrupted from their consoles. Overall game is just one big MEH. Graphics, sounds are all simplistic even for that era. I think the game was not challenge on the systems even way back in the day. Story? Product of its time (and attempt at US patriotic cash grab). Here's super-duper advanced piece of military hardware, there are bajilion of middle-eastern terrorists and you are last man standing after your whole unit has been wiped out. Go get 'em, soldier, and show them what happens when you mess with Uncle Sam and touch his boats! Proceed with dispensing of Liberty, Justice and American Way of Life! Other than that, arcade third-person shooter in desert, with all the brown pallete colors. Bought this on sale, and not really worth the money. Your call if you want to play this, wait for 90% off or skip it.
