Its Meh
It was trash at launch and I am still waiting for that 3rd person camera they said the game would have when they first announced it years ago. Really hate the intro, want to skip it but cant so until i can wont play it again. The whole Jackie story at the beginning should be optional not mandatory. The game lacks a level of choice we all expected to have. Instead of a game with a huge amount of freedom you have a fairly standard open world RPG with all the average trappings and the usual expected filler content. Its well done I assume, when i played it it was buggy as hell and half the quests were broken. I finished the whole game with one sword that was way OP I found at the beginning of the game, used the same broken attack on all enemies and was bored the whole time. The Silverhand stuff was really annoying and I wanted to be done with it only to discover its the whole hook of the thing. There isnt much depth beyond that. We should have gotten an open world game, we got a story driven narrative in an open environment. There is a ton of hand holding and rails pushing you along a guided path. More like option A, B, or C, instead of actual player agency.
