Almost breathtaking
Good game, fun and satisfying. Great graphics, storytelling and gameplay. It is not perfect though: bugs and crash (for now) and poor AI and lacking immersive activities/interactions with the city/people (not sure this can/will be fixed...).

A good game, but not great
So let me start off by saying that in my current 18 hour playthrough I am having a good time with the game. Luckily I have a decent enough computer to run the game on the highest settings with ray-tracing enabled. I haven’t encountered too many bugs and glitches, and the game has only crashed twice. I know that is not the same for everyone, especially PS4 and Xbox One players – and some on lower-end PC rigs. PROS: - presentation of Night City is phenomenal - best presentation of a city in a videogame ever. - Solid combat and RPG mechanics; gunplay a particular highlight. - Really good story, missions and side quests with high quality voice acting and animations - solid driving mechanics with a lot of vehicle choice. CONS/THINGS TO IMPROVE - lacklustre, basic and unreactive pedestrian and police AI - more opportunities for immersion and to interact with the game world (i.e., random encounters as in GTA V and RDR 2) and RPG customisation (getting a haircut) - Considering the amount of emphasis on player customisation (creating character, changing clothes, etc), more opportunities to see character in 3rd person perspective would be welcome. - More character customisation options with regards to body types. I want to stress that I am enjoying the game and am having fun getting immersed in the atmosphere of Night City while playing the main story and side missions. I can’t comment on whether choices and consequences matter in the game, because I am only at ACT 2 of the story. But I do hope, like the Witcher 3, players are presented with some opportunities to shape the narrative and effect the game world.

Have to change by myself every time.
I don't know what to do When entering the game, I have to change by myself the language every time to play this game. I'm Thai. Please make some changes in the language settings. Because I enter the game where I have to adjust the language every time, it's important.

Ok, for now...
I confess I haven't spent a lot of time playing missions or getting immersed in the story. It seems safer to wait until a lot more bugfixes and optimization patches have landed. One or two might potentially break all progress. So I have contented myself with driving and mostly just walking around the city, Watson that is, as the rest is still locked for me. This has proven to be a great way to just chill and become immersed in the environment. I find it very relaxing and I'm constantly in awe of the density and art direction of the surroundings. What I do feel is that the difference between the more busy parts and the more desolate places/roads is too stark. Some streets and roads are just much too empty, while others are some of the most dense I have ever experienced in a game like this. Surely it can't be a problem to up the car and pedestrian count in those emptier places, or at least provide an option to do so. I suppose mods will come along to fix this, like in TW3. On a technical level, I am using an I7/RTX2080 combo with very high settings. This gives me very playable framerates on a 1440p Gsync monitor. I had hoped for even better performance, but I also feared a lot more bugs. I know it has been a subpar experience for many people (especially console players), but this seems to be at least partially due to using less powerful hardware. I suppose the game will only really start to shine in a couple of years, when even more powerful GPU's can deal with it. That is not the way it should have been, but given CDPR's track record so far it is certainly what I was prepared for. Remember the mess TW1 and 2 were in when they launched and how many fixes were needed afterwards. And those were far less complex games. So far so TW3... We'll see what happens next, and by that I mean in the next 18 months or so. CDPR released the game too soon, that much is abundantly clear, but I feel I'll eventually get my money's worth anyway. In the meantime I'll just keep strolling around Watson.
