The State of the Art

Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty is the state of the art. At first I am stunned by the characters and complexity of the neon light atmosphere, it is vibrant/light bleeding/ busy street in a messy traffic network where exactly a rich but short sighted government would plan out for. Remind me of the old days in Hong Kong. but the game didn't stop there, the main course of the game is actually its story and RPG, given the freedom and technology everyone could live as superhuman, the story will soon make you think what makes you a conscience/ sentient being. the whole journey you will face a lot of betrayal, tough decision, on top of the cinematic effect, at the end they all serve one grand purpose, shape your will and prepare you for the grand finale. Like one grand philosophy dilemma, with every steps you realize something more about yourself and tip the scale. and only such immersive story can outmatch its already masterfully crafted open world city. It is THE story of V and Night City ( and some of Johnny), go knock yourself and dive into it just like everyone else. *bought the game at launch on GOG, too many bug and GTX 1080 aint cut for it, so i waited until May 2025 with 9070XT. game run flawlessly with Ultra setting and other FSR tech (no Path Tracing though), Just dont turn on Cloud save, GOG server is bad

Controversal, but freaking awesome!

Game has some problems. I cannot complain about graphics, cause playing on LOW, sometimes it crashes, sends me to hell with textures, and does some strange things in technical plan. Also i have questions about character creation. Skin colors are all very yellow, and that is weird. I could not play as corpo, cause game crashed when i tried to speak with boss, so had to try nomad. AND OMG, i have onle passed prologue, but fallen in love completely. Car is so smooth and REAL (sometimes it is arcade AF, but mostly it is cool). Characters, gameplay and all this staff makes me so satisfied. All i can do is to thank CDPR for this masterpiece, even if i cannot play it normally, but still, remembering the witcher 3 experience, we can assume, that in month or so, game turn into brilliant, and in two years reach the peak form and get DLC nominated on game of the year. No other options

Worth it, despite initial flaws

Playing On GFN with everything set for ultra in 1920x1080 res. Works great. 2h clocked in, cant wait to have some more this night. There are bugs and glitches here and there, like floating burgers or models going through another models. The mechanics and controls are a bit cumbersome when it comes to keyboard and mouse, although some fiddeling with sensitivity and othwe things made it work for me. The shere scope of the world, even in those early stages, how it is alive, noir and beutifull, how The story is told, how you experience it... it is at least for me amazing, and one of a kind. The perfect get away from the daily routine into a world of wonder. Ill be buying a new rig for this in the New year to experience it in higher res. In general, if you are not bothered by some visual issues, i'd recommend you go for it, and experience it now, when its still fresh and nothing is spoiled, and then go again with the 2nd and 3rd background. Best regards guys!

Tutorial: How to enjoy Cyberpunk.

First of all, keep an open mind, this game is different. They did try to make it BIG but they have failed. Even though, it has some very enjoyable moments mixed with good product design (cars, buildings, weapons, etc.) and good cutscenes. This is not the ordinary RPG that people are used to play. It's not even the sandbox shooter type of game like STALKER Clear Sky or The Division series. It's more like a walking simulator or a story driven adventure game with some extra light mechanics (shooter, RPG, stealth) that are not very demanding for the casual players but also not enough for a hardcore player. If you like to play the story and skip the sandbox elements than you will enjoy this A LOT. If you want to go deep to experiment everything that this game has to offer, well, prepare for a wild ride, grind and waste of time. I have played Cyberpunk on PS5 and, looking back, i realize that it is one of the game on the console that i have enjoyed the most and that on the next playthrough i would do some things different to enjoy it even more. This is what i have learned: 1. Quickhacks are OP, upgrade those 2. Dont bother experimenting your build, not much to experiment, just find a meta build somewhere. 3. Dont spend all your skill points, just keep them for when u need them. If you need Strenghts to open a door, upgrade that, if you need Intelligence to hack something, spend it than. 4. Skip all the sandbox content, play only the main story mode and the extra story modes (trust me, you will thanks me. There are at least 20 hours of main story content.) 5. Save before starting a story event, you may want to go back to get the best from each moment so you wont have to start over. At the end of the game you may find out that you didnt do enough to get a proper ending. 6. Exploration is not satisfying, you can skip it. 7. Car physics is bad even though some cars are superb. Collect cars but drive them mostly outside the city. 8. Use your own music.
