No regrets.

Despite the bad launch blabla... That said: I simply LOVE the game. I don't care much for technical stuff, glitches and all, but I love a good story, well-written characters, love for detail and respect for original lore. Cyberpunk 2077 has it all. Not only portraying Pondsmith's vision of the dark future, it also doesn't fail to acknowledge its roots and other influences of the genre. There's references to William Gibson's Sprawl Trilogy and I see Blade Runner either directly or woven into characters, scenes and storylines. Night City is an awesome recreation and future interpretation of its version from Cyberpunk 2020 which was trashed and rebuild through Cyberpunk Red, which is set 2045. If you know where to look you can trace back the development through the years until 2077. This is one of those games I will replay again, again and again, for there's simply no other that delivers this kind of atmosphere.

Great Game!!!

Great game, with a good story, well-made characters, enchanting Night City in all its facets. Too bad for the numerous bugs that the game has suffered since day one, but I am confident for the future, with the fixing of bugs, DLCs that will improve and enrich the game :)

Despite all the bugs that the game still have, i recomend this game, the storyline is so good; give this game a chance!

I am happy

I loaned the game over christmas 2020, after 1.07, I loved the game, it's graphics are really great and the story is gripping. I then went and put it on my wish list to buy when the price is right. CDproject Red had a bunch of issues and people were putting pressure on them to release so they did, even though they insisted the game was not ready. I am most definitely going to play again. Thanks CDprojectRed

Brilliant game released in Early Access

Let's get the elephant out of the room. The release was a proper mess. The game felt like it was still in Early Access, very much like most of your Ubisoft titles. Communication was not clear whatsoever. Not during release, not in the previous months. At the same time, Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic representation/adaptation of the CP universe. Make no mistake, this is not a GTA-like sandbox simulator, nor your usual open world game. This is a pen'n'paper RPG adapted to your computer. The character builds. The characters! The dialogues! Johnny Effin' Silverhand! The gorgeous graphics and sights! All the different districts where you can just drive around listening to a fictional band you realize you became a fan of. The fun, tight combat. All the variations, options, all the ways you can incite glorious chaos! 300 hours in, I'm still not bored of it. I firmly believe that the release and especially the communication surrounding it was a mess, and that's what netted a lot of negative feedback. And honestly, CDPR deserved it all. But with some hard work, this is a game that worths fixing and worths experiencing because despite all its flaws, it is the best immersive experience released in a good while. All the details, all the secrets that make Night City a living, breathing character on its own make it a bloody brilliant game.
