Cyberpunk 2077

Rough around the edges to be sure. I don't need to explain what this game is and is not because I'm sure you already know, but do know this. This game will win awards at the end of 2021. Lots of them. We're looking at another The Witcher 3 situation. Rough launch, epic legacy.

To be honest, the ungratefulness for games like that even being made, makes me sick. The immersion of the world is more than the usual mainstream-content-overkill since Skyrim. You have to discover it. Plus, it is all one, no separeted cineastic parts with no connection to each other. The world has a history you can discover everywhere, own style (and history of that style), factions making sense and characters behaving logically in the boundaries of their faction and background. In that point Cyberpunk is way more MORRORWIND than GTA. Anyone complaining about bugs and glitches in the PC version (!) just dont have anything to complain anymore i guess. There are no game-breaking bugs in that version. Remembering all the quests in Skyrim you could only finish with console commands? I had ONE little side mission at a building i could not complete and that's it. The glitches are nothing to what you experience in other games of that size. It is a finished game. Besides, everyone knows, you have to save often in RPGs, especially in open-world ones. Two things that mock me are: 1) missing sounds and 2) just things in detail they could have been done better with more time in the whole quality process. But to be honest, im glad they released it. At the end of the day you want to earn money with the game. Eventually, i cant stop admiring the whole artwork of it. Just LOOK at this world, really use your eyes. It is an amazing work. If you can't even notice and appreciate it, then go on playing arcade games. Sorry for saying that. Let's not forget about the policy on releasing the consoles version. But talking about PC, it is a great RPG with so many different pathways and conclusions you only experience after a long time playing it. I would give 4/5 points, because the games has so much potentiall you just want to have it better in many ways. But because of the unfair and highly irrational critics i decided to honor the attempts of RP and give 5. Thank you!

Cyberpunk is an astonishing great RPG adventure game where you play as V, a mercenary in Night City. Going into this game having heard what everyone else said about it, you kinda expect the worst. However, playing this you realize quickly that a majority of the people being negatively vocal about it are wrong. Probably because they haven't actually played the game. The story is great. Best story I've seen in a game in a long while. This includes the characters and their personalities. I'd say that every NPC that you meet and interact with are unique in their own way, everything from the main side characters but even minor characters you meet along the way. I feel the main quests are streamlined but also gives you time and opportunity to play around in the world through exploring, doing side jobs, gigs, etc. Before I go into the gameplay part, I just want to adress one major issue: A lot of people seem to go into this game thinking it's GTA. It's not GTA and it will never be GTA. The gameplay is solid, everything from the shooting to the quickhacking. Driving leaves a bit to ask for, but it's not really the main focus of the game. The world is great to explore, but as many criticise it for, there's not much to actually interact with. That's okay in my book, not the main focus of the game. The levelling system is good and the skill tree with the various attributes really shows that this is a RPG. You need to go all in with skills and attributes to make sure that you can finish quests and side jobs in a satisfactory way. Speaking of that, I love how every quest, side job and gig gives you different ways to solve and finish them. There's so much possiblity to adapt the game to your game style! I recommend this game despite what "everyone else" says about this game. It is definitely GOTY 2020-worthy.

I played this at launch. Have not played it since i did 2 full playthroughs back then. Had almost no bugs. And on my 2080ti this ran really smooth. If I didn't know better I'd say those saying different lived in a different world. Enjoyed the shit out of it. Well worth the money. Waiting for substantial story expansions before returning. Almost anything in this world can be better. Same goes for this game. Was it worth the money (only question relevant to the discussion)? Hell yes.

Scores: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Bad, Very Bad, Awful. - Performance: Good (Very demanding game. Few frame drops. Running at 60fps, 1440p, with an i7 10th gen, 3070RX. Funny bugs and glitches all over the place). - Art style: Excellent (The city is spectacular!) - Gameplay: Good (Stealth mechanics are okayish, gunplay as well) - Story: Very Good (The main campaign is fine, side missions some good, some bad) - Sound, Music, Voice: Excellent. At a current state, worth it at a reduced price. The bugs and glitches will break the immersion constantly
