Cyberpunk 2077

I did enjoy the game quite a bit, hence the four stars. Unfortunately the main storyline is short which is very disappointing. I do understand the minority who complained that Witcher 3's story was too long, but Cyberpunk introduces so many complex and great characters that you do not get to spend enough time with them to establish an emotional bond as the story whizzes by. What makes the storyline's length even worse is the theme that V's dying which makes players think you have to rush the main storyline to save the protagonist. Truth be told the entire main story feels rushed and CDPR missed a lot of opportunities to flesh out the world with the three origins, e.g. add more missions to make the players feel they're actually a Nomad/Street Chav/Corp. The world also feels a touch empty after completing the storyline, they should make bars interactive where you can meet with some of the NPC's you've met for a lengthy chit-chat, go to cinema or invite them to a shooting range as otherwise some characters get way too little screen-time. Also please let us cause havoc like in GTA. Last point, I'm really hoping that the DLC's (of which I hope they go full Paradox cause the base game is so goddamn solid) will flesh out some characters and expand existing storylines, got my fingers crossed for a Nomad and Panam expansion as leaving the city was very refreshing.

A lot of the bad reviews on here are from a year ago now, especially the top listed ones. Agreeably, the game was rough at the start and probably deserved those reviews. However, a year has since passed and I don't believe those reviews hold anymore. The game has always been solid in its storytelling, world building, and immersiveness. That much hasn't changed, but in that time bugs have been worked out and it's in a solid state now. I highly recommend anyone buy this game now, it's very good, graphics are ridiculous, and the atmosphere is amazing. Don't worry about those other reviews, it's overcome its shortfalls and is a wonderful game to play.

After patch 1.5, this game should get more credit as being a Masterpiece. Story & characters left me floored. Music direction is amazing. Graphics are amazing (if your PC can handle it). This game does not deserve the hate it got on release. Now is the time to experience this game. Bought this title on Steam; maybe I'll get the goty edition here in time.

You probably heard of CDPR's great new update, right? After numerous articles discussing what a failure this game was, the news of an update brought hope I'd imagine. I always kept my distance from this company regardless, and of course, the moment i let my guard down during a summer sale is when I realize no one can escape being swindled. I can run any game on my pc, but I cant run this one. Even after downloading drivers and scouring the internet for solutions, I am left looking like a fool. The game is unplayable. I have requested a refund. I know for a fact this is the first and last CDPR game I will own. While attemting to run this game at 5 fps, I also noticed that it in no way reflects the trailers or what was advertised about the game. No wonder even Keanu Reeves, the "bait", hasnt even played this representation of modern day gaming ... a scam.

Do not listen to the complaining of all these pretentious hipsters. This Game is great and that is quite rare these days in Modern Gaming.
