Cyberpunk 2077

I understand why a lot of people were disapointed with this game. It failed to deliver alot of what was promised, and had some issues with glitches. If you are willing to look past that and take the game for what it is, there is a lot to like. Dispite all of it's flaws, it's one of the best games of the year.

i love the game, it feels really immersiv. Some little bugs are crouching by sometimes, but nothing game breaking. More of the funny "skyrim like" bugs I say "specific type of gamer" because i think that the same type of gamer who enjoyed games like fallout 3 and new vegas, or the outer worlds would like cyberpunk2077 the city has an really cool flair. I never saw a videogame world like this in my 25 years of gaming. i´am 31 right now ^^ The Story is good write, some side quest have better storylines than some other AAA productions. Sorry for the bad english grammar and tense! ^^

Doesn't matter how imperfect the game is. There're tonns of "but", megatonns of broken wet dreams ...but not of mine! I adore the game! Its atmosphere is fantastic. Sound and music keep me always immersed. The storyline purely explodes my brain. With the patch 1.2 my game experience boosted. I wish all the best to CDProject, especially with polishing and further development of the game. BTW, my PC config is quite average, so i still can't see the game in its sweetest. i5 6500, GeForce GTX1060 6gb, RAM 16gb, SSD M.2

As I type this review, I have over 40 hours as per the GOG Galaxy Client. Hopefully that will add some weight to what I am trying to say. Originally, I had pre-ordered the moment the pre-orders opened. Then, I watched as the released date kept getting postpone. something about their marketing and online reviews did not seem to add up. I cancelled my pre-order, and turns out, I was right. The game was in bad shape. Eventually, I saw the updates and found Patch 1.2 promising. Further, I upgraded my PC to SSD. This is a key step in enjoying this game. As of now, my PC is running GTX 1060 6 GB. I am playing at 1080p with High settings. Okay, so, the game itself, I am enjoying it. 40 hours in, I have found very little bugs. For instance, this one time, this character Panama, got her head stuck to her left for the entire 5 minute section of the game. Sometimes, I cannot run at all. I can only walk. Most of the time though, saving and reloading, solves majority of issues. Also, yes, the game does have this 'delayed' appearance problem. every now and then, the gun takes a few seconds to materialize. NPCs and vehicles take a second to materialize. Not all the time, happens enough to be noticeable. Other than this, I have run into no other issues. I find the game a lot of fun to play. The story is good. side missions are good. The gun play, I am actually enjoying it. It's really fun getting into shootouts. I especially love the photo mode. The game is so beautiful, even at 1080p, I keep getting lost in the sights. A lot of times, I just drive around or walk around, just looking at the city and buildings the markets and the people. Thanks to some sale, I only paid some 35 dollars for this. For 35 dollars, this is an amazing game. In my eyes, CD Projekt have done a decent job. Looking forward to DLCs.

I holded off from bying this game for until it went for 30 Euro on Black Friday, a year later after it's release. Some bugs still exist, but it is obvious that CDPR is working on a prioritized list ordered from game Breaking to visual. Characters sometimes drag along car doors and garbage around, some awkward moving through spaces, faceplanting NPCs, multiple same models in the same area. But I never had to reload a save to fix a bug to unblock progression, so... you can end the Game as it is now. When you approach the end of the story, visual bugs appear more often, this points out to how CDPR prioritizes bug fixing outside the main quest as well. That said, a Year Later... the Game iss on a Minimum Viable Product state where tons of features feel stuck in a backlog and the full potential of the Game Engine capabilities are yet to be unfold. Driving... feels sooo awkwardright now, i am glad it is not needed a lot. Reading through the progress the dev team made, the investement in Time, and how CP2077 became an example to avoid by other companies, i expect those missing features will come eventually, now through way more carefull expectation handling and test. In it's current state 4 stars reflect the value i got for the money i payed. If i had to pay the full 60, i'd be puthing it on the 3 - 3.5 range, mainly because it is Technically impressive, and I can definitely see that most of the bugs relate to the unrestricted power of the Game Engine, but we, as Players needed to see a finished Product, which is yet to come. This game is still a good addition to anyone that is into Cyberpunk mentality, and is still alive, but If CDPR decides to go full Deaf on Developer's and QA Engineers again, it will only end up much less than it could have been...
