Crysis®

I want to like the game; echoes of FarCry and some others of the time, with more to it I would like to play. The problem is 'nightvision' is the 'start' button on a gamepad, and similar odd menu and controller access for me ruin the gameplay that otherwise would be WONDERFUL... So, I rate it only a three in it's original state. I don't Know about the remaster, but I doubt my issue was fixed. I also had no crashes previously; and they updated again but also did not solve anything; and I saw no 'new launcher' on launch the changelog mentions, unless I missed this in the folder or something. I uninstalled that update even faster than the older version when I played, because again it is not a cosmetic but technical problem that I have with the game. A remake would be 'Wonderful' too, without the odd menu and controller layout: The menu is weird even with a keyboard and mouse! Lol.

Just like the title says, it's amazing, but it crashes every now and then, hope gog fix it!

The first Crysis will always be special. The graphics, the physics, the suits powers, the gameplay, the thrilling story (especially the first half). One of the best FPS of the 2000s.

Favorite FPS eva since 2008. The original game is way better than the remastered.

I played this game on "easy" and it was much fun. The four abilities of your power-suit (strength, speed, armor and stealth) are a fine idea. I got constantly hit from guys somewhere invisible in the bushes, but that's what "armor" is good for. You just need a short break at a safe spot to load it up again. Then to close combat distance with "speed" and use the shotgun. If nothing helps there is still "invisible". You drive Jeeps (with MGs and yes on easy-mode you can drive AND fire), motorboats, helicopters. You fight at very different locations, shoot ugly aliens, the game has everything that's fun about a shooter. It's not perfect, I was stuck once due to a bug, but with the help of a walkthrough it's doable. I don't know how good it is, if you prefer the more ambitious tactical approach, but if you love to rush in, as we say in German, "ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste", then buy it and try it. With MAXIMUM SPEED!
