Crusader: No Remorse™

This is one of my favorite action games of all time. If I want my 90's sci-fi action fix I install this and Flashback. You feel like a 90's action anti-hero running through halls, traps while blowing enemies into smithereens. It also have cheesy FMV movies which I love which gives the game a human touch and a reason to keep playing. Tight controls, good shooting mechanics and feelings = you can destroy anything in a room almost. You can control a mech too!

This game is simply one of those flawless gems of old. Hard, Long, Good Music and Lore thar you must read about it outside the game, very common stuff in DOS games of those years. Play the game on max dificulty No Remorse.

GOG release has latest 1.21 version of game, but surprisingly, it has outdated asylum.dll. Originally, this dll was included by ORIGIN into 1.21 game upgrade pack. Latest DLL allows GUS card to be chosen (sounds in Mono though), and more important, for SB16 mode it turns audio from MONO to STEREO. Small shame on you, GOG. And really big thanks to you GOG.

Let's get down to it. I love this game. I loved it in 1995, I bought the sequel at Electronics Boutique on release day and have tried to play it a couple of times since using Dosbox. The action is spectacular, the explosions are over the top, and the video snippets and puzzle gameplay are worth every moment you spend on it. I've always been stunned that it didn't ever get a remake in the style of Lara Croft: GOL. It's here now, and I suggest you download it. Crusader: No Regret is next!

Most young people expect from the game great graphics, fast and short gameplay. Another day another game. Play a few hours and see the next title. I was born in 1976. I remember Commodore, Atari, Amiga, and the first PC. Now on GOG I live again. I sit in front of a laptop and smiling from ear to ear :D Crusader: No Remorse is based on a modified enginie Ultima VII. (It looks great ) You are a soldier of elite commandos. During a routine mission, your squad will be butchered by the mechs. Only you survived. You betrayed and looking for revenge. Welcome to degenerate reality without forgiveness and no mercy. You want to play old school action game with great storyline and playability ? Check both Crusaders titles. Believe me they are worth every dollar spent in the GOG.
