first class cyber pet +deeper complexity
A wonderful game. Superficially it is an electronic pet game. Under the hood it is a sophisticated (for it's day) artificial life simulator with simulated genetics, neurones, and biochemistry. There is an old fan community that has made many add-ons to this, and it's sequels. Check out creatures caves and geatville websites

Well well well
Amazing childhood game, sadly I cant play Creatures 2 because GOG refuses to fix the error that happends when you try to play it in windows 8. So many more people could enjoy this game if they removed the black box that blocks the screen at start up.

For kids? Not really.
Hooboy. Memories. I remember wanting this game so badly that I convinced my father to get us a new 500 MEGABYTE harddrive so I'd have the space to install it. I was totally taken in by the game, but to be honest, I never got that far. A lot of the logic behind creature development is obscured so that there's no way to tell if what you're doing is really doing any good. Add in enemy mobs that seem to routinely wipe my settlements and, well. Frustrating! Of course, I haven't played creatures in a good 12-15 years, so it may be better than I remember. But just prepare for some hair pulling :)

Amazing!
This is a artificial life game that has loads of charm, beautiful graphics and will guarantee that you spend hours of your life exploring the two Albias with your norns and helping them rear offspring. The games run like a dream on today's computers and is not resource heavy like 3d games. There are also thousands of addons that can be downloaded for the game, to ensure that you'l never be bored with it. A must-have.
