Here at Jujubee, we’ve always thought that games should address current and serious topics. In the case of our historical-documentary game KURSK we touched on the subject of the Russian submarine tragedy and to what end an arms race could lead to, in Deep Diving Simulator we focused on issues related to the ecology and protection of our underwater world, and Realpolitiks tackles the problem of terrorism and migrations. In COVID: The Outbreak we allow the players to face the most current and touching topic of all - a pandemic of a dangerous virus.
As the leader of the Global Health Organization (GHO) your task is to contain the spread of a coronavirus and save humanity before it is too late.
In addition to crisis management, the game provides the players with information on how to behave in the event of an epidemic, what actions to take, and how to protect themselves and their loved ones in the most effective way. The game is based on the data published by WHO and on the information acquired from experts and consultants.
Through your actions, you will be able to see how difficult it is to manage during a crisis, what impact various decisions can have on an effective fight against a global epidemic, which can be caused by listening to charlatans or the lack of appropriate medical equipment.
The virus will adapt to your actions by means of mutation so you must predict and take into account its transmission abilities, time of incubation, drug resistance, and a whole lot more. Decide whether a country should close its borders and quarantine citizens to reduce the number of new infections, or construct new hospitals and emergency tents to speed up the recovery of the already infected. Choose wisely.

Please all reviewers to keep it about game and not pandemic itself. If any dev wants to include it in the game, then this dev made it perfectly. It was made to educate people through entertainment, which in current days is the best way to approach it. To all that down rate this, please at least try it and return if you dislike it. Most of those that gave 1-star only read title and not even check what it is about.
The ammount of people that came here only to bash the game for its theme really disgusts me to such an extent I had to give it a better review to counter-balance a tad.
But ffs these useless reviews (mine included) need to be removed, I mean, just look at the obvious difference from overall and verified owners.
i appreciate that this game is trying to provide a birds eye view of the crisis we are going through right now. its a good way to educate the public. thanks to the devs
I have to admit that at first I did not believe that Covid The Outbreak (CTO) might be good for me, but I decided to try it because the nest price is really low. Fact, Jujubee studio does not have any hit games so far but it did a nice Realpolitiks game where I had a great time so I just wanted to check because curiosity won or you can do an interesting game about coronavirus in a short time and that's why I "risked" because the topic is up to date , I like strategy games so why not? Ok, I know, we all have enough of Covid19, all the time on TV, Internet, radio, newspapers (if someone is still reading them), we are bombarded with info about Covid19 so I have too much of this topic but I risked it and I don't regret it. A fun, interesting, well-made game for the price. You can't demand $ 12 as much as $ 40-50 and if someone does, i.e. it's not fair :) This is not a simple game for children and simple people - it is too difficult for them, good for them there will be games of "Balls" or "Snake" etc. CTO as a game makes sense, it draws in its plot when you start playing it, it is really well written, there is no scam written on the knee, animations and the entire visualization layer is ok and most importantly, it is really nice to play it.
