Costume Quest 2

Le jeu est long. Le scénario est original, comme toujours chez Double Fine. J'ai eu moins de plaisir qu'avec le premier à ramasser des bonbons. Peut-être un peu plus facile ? Les cartes spéciales ne m'ont pas emballé non plus. Et tous les costumes ne se valent pas, à mon avis. Dans l'ensemble, c'est toujours aussi plaisant. À acheter en réduction.

This game has quite possibly the most fun thing I've ever done in a videogame (viz. most excellent encounter with devil at the crossroads). But that was a pretty early peak and the rest got a bit same-y as we trot along our linear adventure game path. Some funny intros and attacks in combat too from all the costumes. But then it's the grind of jrpg combat. (As an aside it was interesting to notice the similarities in various aspects between this and Psychonauts 2.) Still, fun enough that I'll also give Costume Quest 1 a go.

Some bugs like the candy bag filling not loading, characters getting stuck and the doors not opening on time (none of these issues were there in the first game), but combat is fun (the change in camera angle is a real downgrade with the first getting a slow up close shot of each fighter and now its all distant) I like the new costumes a lot and the maps are fun and dynamic but can be a little too big and confusing. Overall, I say its about on par with the first game
