Game is beyond me

I couldn't make it through the tutorial. It doesn't seem to have a very fluid control system. It looked like a lot of fun when I was reading about it, but it turned out to be a dud. The enemies are relentless when it comes to wiping you out. They send hoardes of troops constantly. I couldn't get on my feet to defend myself in any of the scenarios. If I could, I would love to get a refund for this game. Not worth it in my book.

atrocious, in the most literal sense

When an enemy unit gets close to one of your peasants and you don't have a military unit of your own nearby, the peasant switches sides. Then, when your own military unit gets back, they will shoot the peasant. There is no way to stop this behaviour. Your military will butcher its own people, just because these people have temporarily fallen under the influence of the enemy. This goes far beyond the usual war atrocities that I expect from a war game. I uninstalled in disgust.
