Conflict: Desert Storm is a first/third-person shooter that features modern military operations. You take control of a four-man squad: sniper, rifleman, demolitions expert, and heavy weapons expert. You must use their abilities wisely either by giving them orders or assuming direct control. In addition to that there is an excellent multiplayer mode in which you can challenge your friends on numerous maps and gameplay modes. This game is an excellent choice for someone looking for a solid military shooter with strong tactical elements.
  • Join up to 7 friends in multiplayer mode and fight through many available modes including deathmatch, team deathmatch, assassination, and more.
  • Develop your squad through each mission, increasing their combat abilities.
  • Detailed and realistic missions designed by a former SAS officer are as fun as they are informative.

Why people saying this game looks bad

This game literally looks the same or better than Ghost Recon, but it came out around the same time. It's setting and story is not really worse than Ghost Recon, a bit less dramatic and hugging what was happening at the time to a degree. This game was a blast to play on Xbox, and it was very good compared to the offerings on that system.

Why would you play it now?

So, back in 2000s I was playing this on Gamecube with pals, and later, with my friend on PS2. It wasn't so bad, it was a correct game, with co-op, and I really enjoyed parts where we had to destroy tanks (AI infantries are pointless, really.) But this game has nothing more than any nowadays co-op based game. Don't spend money for this game, except for nostalgia.
