Pharaoh 2.0
Just like the old game Pharaoh but newer and a different twist.

Still a good game, just not for me
I own a number of city building style titles, so I had wanted to revisit this game since I had lost my boxed version. After completing a map, I found for some reason, no desire to continue playing this game. Some little things that bothered me, the time changes and hazy darkness during the night hours. I can recommend this game simply because it is a good game, and it works flawlessly. It's just that this game has apparently run it's course for me. This title worked perfectly on my Windows 7 64 bit computer.

A good game, but a slow one
A good game, with interesting rules, as compare to caesar series or CivCity Rome. The game has complete (complex?) rules, but it is easy to take it in hand. I don't experiment a lot of instability. The main trouble of the game is that it is so slow... I play all parties in x2.5 (max), but it will be helpful to have a x10. And I am a city builder gamer; it's really worth than other similar games. Except the unique (but large) problem, it's a good game, I recommend for city builder gamer who want to test other game design.

Pharaoh for dummies
A decent city builder, with simple rules whch the game explains very well. Beyond that, there's not much to it. If you're looking for a game that's relaxing and does not challenge you in any way, you might give it a try but a lot of times the game seems to just play itself. Craftsmen will just gather resources from all over the map, requiring no imput on your part to designate zones or even build cleverly to allow for better supply routes; building pyraminds and other monuments is a hands-off experience as most of the process is automated. Even warfare barely requires your involvement. It's clear that this is trying to be a successor to Pharaoh, but where its predecessor was brutally (and often unfairly) difficult, Children of the Nile barely requires any imput from you to create a functioning city. Is it bad? Not really. It works fine and allows for quite a lot of freedom in construction, but the lack of challenge often makes it so uninteresting; in many missions you'll just be going through the motions until the scenario solves itself.

Blurred unreadable menus
This game is impossible to play as every single menu other than the startup is in an unreadable tiny blurry font. This is clearly a resolution UI issue due to the game not being compatible with windows 10. There was a patch available online that apparently fixed this issue but it is no longer publicly available. I would seek out a refund but with how cheap it cost I honestly don't care.
