GREAT GAME TOTALLY WORTH YOUR MONEY

It is fun and gives you a different perspective on horror games. Reverse horror was a great idea! I played it with a ps4 controller hooked to my mac machine. By the end of the game the layout of the laboratory is a bit "mazy" and you have to look for things but overall it was great. If you are looking for something fun for a single evening this is your game!

A really fun and awesome experience

I found out about this game thanks to GManLives and after finishing I can say this: it's great! Now not everything is perfect: sometimes controls feel weird, there is no map so I didn't knew where I'm supposed to go at the end and later levels can be frustrating. Despite that it's an original and creative game where you can play as this things that likes munching people... except more elite soldiers, they don't taste that great I guess. Anyway we get abilities through the entire game (by the way, dominating rocks) so there is always something new coming up all the way. This game is not perfect and I know it's short but for the creativity and the amount of just simple fun that I got out of it I just have to give it 5/5. Maybe we will get a sequel that will give us more and to be honest I simply wonder what they will do with the ending. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Joyful carnage

So I just finished Carrion (which I played on my Switch Lite but do own on GOG as well) and oh man, it was too long ago that a game felt like this much fun! In Carrion, you play as a freakish meat-blob that is caused by some freakish experiment in an underground lab and well, your mission is to A: grow in size and B: escape. To grow in size, you need to consume the humans of the lab and these come in two flavours: civilians and soldiers. Unsurprisingly, eating the people with firearms is a lot more challenging and as the game progresses, you also face off other obstacles such as gun turrets, armed mechas and flying drones that will do their best to end your journey using bullets, fire or explosives. On your way you will develop new abilities such as turning your blob invisible for short periods and growing in size does also give you new abilities (while removing others). The one ability that makes all the difference is when you learn to control humans and make them do your biddings such as opening doors for you or even open fire on their comrades. A written description won't do the experience any justice - it's just fun (and gruesome). The game does sometimes turn into a puzzler when you try to find new routes towards your goal and towards the end of the game it can be a bit difficult to know which way you go as the game doesn't have a map of any sort. Besides that, I have no complaints at all. This game is a gem and a solid recommendation!

Fun, quick game

I really enjoyed this game. It had a good story, neat graphics, and fun mechanics. It's rare that I beat a game, but I pretty much beat this one in a single sitting. Easy to do since it only took me ~6 hours, but it was still a lot of fun none-the-less. Highly recommend if you see it on a sale, but do realize that it's a short playthrough

You're the Nightmare and it's Fun

Very well designed game when it comes to enroll new mechanics, get back to old ones and the monster movement is just gorgeous. Snakes, spikes, screams, throwing things and people around, all of the music and atmosphere. I would love to play sequel where I can choose way to finish my opponents, fight other biomass creatures, shoot helicopters down and conquer buildings, whole town :)
