Take the wheel as Max Damage as you plow scores of vehicles unlucky enough to be in your way. With a white-knuckled grip on the wheel, you’ll have the choice of 23 crashmobiles (from a terrifying monster truck to a high octane Dragster) and 30+ levels of hellish fury and motorized terror.
Carmageddon was surrounded by huge controversy. A game about mowing down innocent race cars and getting points for it was not exactly something the world was prepared for back when it released. However, all this noise just made everyone talk about this title even more and it's evident that behind all this fuss there is actually an extremely fun game with very unique and crazy gameplay. Now you can experience it for yourself in its full, original, glory.

garbage on a new computer
unfortunately this is not worth $ anymore. It looks horrible on modern hardware. Too bad it hasn't been updated since it was first created. Waste of money.

Perfect at one time
Like everyone here, I have fond memories of playing this game when I was younger. Oh, such fun!!! But the game, like all old polygon based games has not aged well. It looks downright primitive by today's standards, not to say ugly. Rated by what it once was, it deserves 5 stars, but as a game rated by today's standards, it doesn't hold up well at all.

Time gold memories?
This game look like shit. U cant see where road turns... And speaking of hitting opponets! I vouch, that it looked much better back in days. All youtube videos look much better. That ipad/droid version looks like carma2 compered to this. Still 3 stars for it being carmageddon. But with these grapighs its useless...

Mis-spent youth
Played it as youngster, more recently played it in DosBox on Win 7, pledged support via Kickstarter for the upcoming Carmageddon Reincarnation and got this as a freebie, can't wait to try it out when i get home. Do you think a Quad Core Intel i7 3770 3.5GHz, 16 GB RAM and a GeForce 670 will be up to the task of running it??? ;-)
