Good Game But not as Good as Caesar 3
Caesar 3 is the best. But C4 is very 3dish.

A lovely, old school, city builder.
I could write a very long review of Caesar IV, but I do not want to bore you, so I will keep it short and sweet. Although the game was made in 2006, it does not feel old and dated. The gameplay, graphics and music are delighftull. Its very challenging, with various different scenarios that have trade, logistical, prosperity, religious and miliatary elements to them. I have played quite a few Roman city builders, and this one is my favorite. And its fairly cheap too. Dont forget to adjust the screen resolution in the options, because the game has been remasterd, and its reaslly shines on a modernish GPU and monitor.

It growns on you
A very controversial sequel to a classic. I think it is a victim of its time. It's not perfect but it has it's good moments. I certainly enoy playing it.

It's a good simcity game
I give it 1 star for price. I give it another for graphics One for how it easy it was to learn and the tutorial missions. The last star is it works on Windows 7 64 bit without crashing and I can't see any bugs/glitches so it works But I like Children of the Nile better because that game has more to do with creativity than learning and also I liked the music better. I bought this game instead of Pharaoh + Cleopatra because both games are made from Titled Mill. I trust that company after playing Children of the Nile. Trust is hard to come by with all kinds of games companies putting out worthless buggy games like Mass Effect Andromeda.

Un classique de la gestion
Depuis que ce jeu est sorti, je dois bien dire qu'il est toujours magnifique (nostalgie?). Ce qui fait de "Caesar IV", un jeu tout aussi culte que le "Caesar III" (pour moi) c'est sa durée de vie qui est exceptionnelle, ainsi que les bâtiments (très variés et fidèles de ce que l'on sait de l'architecture des Romains). Mais aussi, les paramètres à gérer qui sont toujours nombreux : la sécurité (police - pompiers - architecte), les Dieux, les industries, la nourriture (fruits - eau...), le chômage et le travail, la guerre, les relations avec César... etc... Le tout, avec un niveau de difficulté croissant (pas toujours très simple), mais vraiment satisfaisant quand on réussit à finir une mission (vers la fin du jeu surtout). Bref... il y a de quoi faire, et on peut jouer des heures (et des heures...) sans les voir passer; dans ce jeu vraiment très distrayant et addictif au possible. La gestion devient un réel plaisir, tout comme avec le jeu : Pharaon et Caesar III. Le seul défaut, encore, l'absence de VF... heureusement que l'on peut trouver un patch FR assez facilement sur le net..!
