Saga inoubliable
Wadjet Eyes a fait fort avec cette série de jeux émouvants, et aux graphismes vraiment poignants pour du pixel art. Il manque peut-être une dose de difficulté : les énigmes sont en effet bien trop simples. On est parfois plus proche du jeu narratif que du point'n click. Mais l'histoire de Joey et ses protégées valent le coup.

Memorable and impactful
I had such a great time with this bundle! Memorable to say the least! Memorable characters, memorable story, and memorable locations. The fact that some characters and locations are taken from real life makes this even more interesting! Especially Joe Gould and the bar he used to frequent, the Minetta Tavern, which is now on my bucket list. The voice acting, though not on a Mark Hamill level, is well beyond average, and after some getting used to, it became one with the overall feeling of the game. Watch the trailer and judge for yourself. The writing of the plot and the characters was so impactful that I cared even for many of the minor characters, despite the sound recording problems mentioned in the commentary, and that's saying a lot. We are playing with two protagonists, one ghost and one living. The ghost can do some things the living can't, and vice versa. An interesting dynamic to say the least. Joey Mallone, the ghost from the 1930s is present in all games/chapters, as one of the two protagonists. The living one is mostly Rosa Blackwell. In the second game/chapter we are playing with a different person from the Blackwell family. Initially I didn't want to leave Rosa, having been acquainted to her throughout the fist game, and then I I didn't want to leave the other character and return to Rosa. THAT's how good the characters are written. If you begin to play this and you like it from the first chapter, you're in for a ride, as it keeps getting better and better! Therefore I strongly suggest that you grab the final chapter (the Blackwell Epiphany, which is sold separately) whenever there is a discount, even if you are not yet finished with this bundle. You won't regret it!

Interactive story; fantastic series
Well described that these are more interactive stories than true puzzle games, there are a few talk-to-everyone moments but the engrossing stories are both self-contained in each game with a wonderful overarching plot culinating in a beautifully (and unexpected!) moving finale in the 5th episode Blackwell Epiphany. The voice acting and music and attention-to-detail touches e.g. callbacks in later episodes make this a work of art.

Un must !
Qualité d'écriture remarquable, tant au niveau du scénario que des dialogues, doublage parfait, gameplay agréable, graphismes vintage non dénués de charme... Il s'agit là d'un must du jeux vidéo d'aventure point & click, ni plus ni moins.

Neat little light adventure game series
What a great series of games. The story is what made me want to play them back to back. Voice-acting and dialogue is great. It's even funny too. And I love pixels. Normaly i'm not into the supernatural storyline, but this one got me hooked. I just wanted to play all 5 games (Blackwell Epiphany is sold seperately) just to see the end to the tale. I have to agree with other commenters that it's a light adventure game. The story itself gets a lot of room. But I am a sucker for pixel hunting, so I liked it a lot. I found that some puzzles were quite simple (which means that they're hard for me) and I didn't quite get the matching of clues right away. Nonetheless, a very enjoyable series of games along the likes of The Excavation of Hob's Barrow and others here at GOG. A job well done by Wadyet Eye Games.
