Great game, from what I have played
So far this has been a great game. The combat isn't bad and the plasmids are a fun way to expand on the combat mechanics. I just with the game wouldn't keep locking up on me. Sometimes I can play for minutes and it locks up and not in the same area either. So annoying. So yes it is a great game, when I can play it!

Crashfest
I love Bioshock from deep inside my heart but this remaster is a no no , for 2 hours I tried to tweak fix everything and the game just non stop crash when trying to enter rapture. Better play the OG version from 2007.

PLAY THE CLASSIC VERSION
If you buy both this game and Bioshock 2 remastered, i HIGHLY recommend to play the classic versions that are included with both games for free. The audio and visual effects are far superior to their remastered (or demastered?) counterparts and i experienced no in-game issues aside from the rare stutter. Anyone who has played the Bioshock titles on either the Xbox 360 and PS3 before they were remastered should play the classic versions on PC, it's a much more satisfying experience and they can easily be run at ultra settings if your hardware is not too old to run them at 1080p 60 FPS. Thank you GOG.

Lack of debugging
The people are complaining about some crashes that i experienced myself, the game try to access memory place its not supposed to (memory access violation). It lacks of debugging which is not forgivable, that MUST be fixed. 2K/whatevercompanythatworked on it, DEBUG IT.

Was always a fan, until...
Until I played this game. I bought BIOSHOCK: REMASTERED. BIOSHOCK came out in 2007. BIOSHOCK:REMASTERED came out in 2016/2017. It is now 2023. Why on earth can this game not progress past changing the brightness? (IMMEDIATE CRASH) They have had over 10 years! I am debating whether to ask for my refund or not.... should I waste my time trying to get this to work? But frankly, I have given a lot of money to this website and A LOT of money to the developers of bioshock for far, far, far too long to have this happen to me. I don't care what my specs are, I dont care about ports, etc. When I buy a game from yall 16 years later after it made you millions of dollars, I expect the game to work flawlessly.
