Being a DIK

A young man, from a low-income family, moves away from his widowed father and his summer love to attend college at Burgmeister & Royce. As he is cast into freshman life and persuaded to join the up-and-coming fraternity Delta Iota Kappa, he'll be exposed to a new world filled with conflicts, alcohol, drugs and sex.

Being a DIK is a choice-driven adult Visual Novel (VN).

In this game, you play as a young male attending college, and the choices you make will affect the characters around you and shape your character and adventure.
Will you choose to play as a nice, caring, and romantic guy or as someone more straightforward and daring?

The girls in the game have different values and may or may not be attracted to you based on your choices. Can you resist the temptations along the way to get the girl of your dreams, or will you relent and just...experiment? Hey, it's college, after all!

The game is a Visual Novel, and it's made more interactive through optional mini-games and free-roam events where you can explore the current environment. You can purchase boosters, cheats, and skills to make the mini-games easier to pass and find hidden items that unlock special lewd artwork and more.

Being a DIK - Season 1 includes Episodes 1-4:
  • Episode 1 - The Initiation
  • Episode 2 - Maggot Brothers
  • Episode 3 - 100%
  • Episode 4 - When worlds collide
Season 1 is packed with 361 animated scenes and over 8000 images.

Being a DIK - Season 2 includes Episodes 5-8:
  • Episode 5 - HOTheaded
  • Episode 6 - Damage Control
  • Episode 7 - True Colors
  • Episode 8 - Crossroads
Season 2 adds more than 900 animated scenes, close to 14 000 images, 129 new songs, and more.

One playthrough of Season 1 and Season 2 is expected to take 20-40 hours, which only scratches the included content's surface due to the branching storylines.


Acting Lessons

The game centers around you, a heartbroken man with a background in cryptocurrency trading, telling the story of how you met a girl named Megan during a life-changing day. Megan is a young aspiring actress down on her luck and in desperate need of help. Will you be there for her when she needs it the most and help her turn the tide? Will you be able to win her heart?

Acting Lessons is a drama-filled adult Visual Novel (VN) with many different endings.

The choices you make in this game, even early on, will permeate throughout the game and affect the people around you and your adventure.

The game is centered around the relationship between Jonas (or your name of choice for the main character) and Megan, but there are multiple women in the cast that you can pursue.

Will you be there for Megan and stay faithful to her, or will you fall in love with her childhood friend Melissa?

Perhaps you find someone else more intriguing, for instance, the nurturing nurse Leah or the bluehaired actress Rena?

Will you value the friendship with your best friend Liam and be there when he truly needs you?

These choices, and a lot more, are all yours to make.

Expect a 5 - 8 hour long humor-filled and emotion-packed Adult Visual Novel that many players only could find the strength to play once.

The complete game contains more than 5000 images, 217 animated scenes, and 61 songs.
Being a DIK: Season 3 will continue the story and be released and sold separately as DLC.

The game graphically depicts sex, usage of drugs and violence. The story is not intended for players being in a dark period of their lives. If you are easily offended or just looking for a fun game only, this game is not for you.

Thanks for the reminders...

So after checking out reviews here, I remembered where I saw this game first posted. Steam. Which has become over laden with unintuitive, wantonly poor, sexual related "games" that aren't even actual games. Some of the Old School "adult" games, that are more satire (Leisure Suit Larry and the like), are pretty hilarious and have their place in a GoG library. Even things like Duke Nukem 3D, which caused massive upheaval upon release, were tame at worst. However, I wonder where the path that Indiegala and some other sites have headed down, will lead to. Probably more negative than good. If GoG wants to keep its fanbase, and develop a community with their investments into pretty solid IPs and their own, relatively fun Galaxy interface, they may want to reconsider having things that will make their main advert page NSFW, and weed out all the true fans in lieu of slavering porn addicts.
