Description
A young man from a low-income family moves away from his widowed father and his summer love to attend college at Burgmeister & Royce. As he is cast into freshman life and persuaded to join the up-and-coming fraternity Delta Iota Kappa, he'll be exposed to a new world filled with conflicts, alcohol, drugs and sex.
Being a DIK is a choice-driven adult Visual Novel (VN).
In this game, you play as a young male attending college, and the choices you make will affect the characters around you and shape your character and adventure.
Will you choose to play as a nice, caring and romantic guy or as someone more straightforward and daring?
The girls in the game have different values and may or may not be attracted to you based on your choices. Can you resist the temptations along the way to get the girl of your dreams or will you relent and just...experiment? Hey, it's college, after all!
The game is a Visual Novel and it's made more interactive through optional mini-games and free-roam events where you can explore the current environment. You can purchase boosters, cheats and skills to make the mini-games easier to pass and find hidden items that unlock special lewd artwork and more.
Being a DIK Season 1 includes Episodes 1-4:
Season 1 is packed with 361 animated scenes and over 8000 images.

Boring and unpleasant
Starts off promising enough, with unexpectedly decent pre-rendered 3D graphic and surprisingly good and healthy relationship between the protagonist and his father, although the initial impression is somewhat dampened by overly loud music that sounds very stock. There are a couple of mini-games, one of which (the "fighter") is very simplistic and pretty easy, and the other (the sliding puzzle) I've always been terrible at. The gameplay is non-existent, it's just a bunch of static images and copious walls of text with sporadic choices that may or may not influence the narrative, I don't know. Overall, the first episode is pretty solid. Until the very end, at which point it turns stupid, and when episode 2 begins, the "game" becomes mean for the sake of being mean. The worst part is that the protagonist is put in an extremely humiliating situation in order to be forced to join the titular student group against his - and mine - will, but no, there is no choice in the matter. Sorry, but I *hate* this. And for reasons beyond human understanding, the protagonist doesn't seem to mind this at all and just stays friends with the characters who treated him so horribly. Additionally, the - needlessly numerous - characters just never stop talking, taking 100 words to say something that could only take 10. After a while I stopped caring and just clicked it through without reading, only checking the log when a choice came up. And speaking of choices, often times they are between two bad options, of which I want neither. I ended up uninstalling this "game" after finishing episode 2 - I just didn't care to waste any more of my time on something this unpleasant and boring.

Being a Dik" is a game that certainly has its moments, but it also leaves much to be desired. The narrative can be engaging at times, but it often falls victim to clichés and predictable plot developments. The characters, while interesting in theory, can feel one-dimensional and lack depth. The game could benefit from more complex character development and nuanced storytelling to create a more immersive gaming experience. In terms of gameplay, "Being a Dik" offers a fair amount of challenges. However, the puzzles often lack originality and can feel repetitive, which may lead to player disinterest over time. More creativity in the gameplay would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience and maintain player engagement.

I really love this games
I've playing Acting Lessons and this games was not just a porn game, it talk about real problem about life, violence and lot of serious other thing. Being a Delta Iota Kappa take the same path and talk about bullies, make friend, knowing your limit, etc. -This games have choice and have a real impact for the stories (you can miss information or can't access to some scene because of your choice) -Have mini-games pretty fun and good implemented -Good personnality for all of characters, men or women -Lots of joke and funny moment, who is effective (not only dirty joke just for said dirty thing) -Music, the music is so in the theme of the american university, fell like i want a beer and do some pogo -Great replayability (you will not have all the scene the first playthrough) -And yes lots of sexual content animed Adult games is not a problem if it's well done and good in some way or an other
